I found this community cafΓ© a little disappointing on my trial. Again, in order to draw a fair comparison amongst cafΓ©s that are serving on their menus the same or similar foods and drinks, I diligently indulged in yet another Bacon, Brie and cranberry baguette (or panini as they didn't do a baguette). The coffee wasn't the best tasted very weak and cheap. The food, was poor quality, cooked but tasteless. The brie was fairly none existent and as it was a cheap panini it was hard to cut as they tend to over bake. The bacon wasn't the best. This is a community cafΓ© and is clearly well supported by the older community in the local area. I had to wait 20 minutes for my panini, and noticed that other people that had arrived after me had their food before I did.

We played a gig here in the old bookshop and decided to get there early to look at the library and have some coffee. Lovely staff, very helpful and the coffees were delicious. We bought some books that had gone off the run as well. The audience at the gig was lovely and there was generally a great vibe. Hopefully be back soon!

An amazing venue that offers not only a friendly environment to enjoy a hot brew and a tasty breakfast, but also strong support for local community groups and the arts. They host a wide variety of events, from music and comedy to improv and more, with community truly at the heart of everything they do. Thereβs something for all ages, and the amazing cakes are worth the visit alone!

Went to Caffi Isa for a funeral reception. Venue is lovely and friendly. Cafe is set in the library and it was nice to be surrounded by bookshelves full of books. Choice of seating either cafe chairs or comfy settees. Tea, coffee and hot choc all very delicious. The salt and pepper chips are very good. The cafe supplied the buffet of sandwiches, salad, crisps and other finger food which was fresh and tasty. Will definitely return on a less formal day.

Awesome (not-so)-little venue. Cafe is really smart and has a slight Friend's Central Perk vibe (although no Gunther yet). You can browse the book titles / book spines galore from your seat ! Great cookies and coffee, nice place to sit and hang out and some interesting events hosted there too. Little gem in the middle of the village
