    My washer dryer stopped working and I shuddered at the thought (and cost) that I would need to buy a new one. Luckily someone gave me this company’s number and I decided to give them a call. I’m so glad I did. An engineer arrived two days later, found the issue within ten minutes, and fixed it there and then. Turns out a colour catch sheet had blocked the machine. I will definitely be more careful with those in future. The Β£50 +vat repair was well worth it compared to the cost of a new appliance. In today’s world where things are often thrown away, it is great to know that electrical repair services like this still exist. Thank you to Ken Bowman and the team.

    My Bosch dishwasher stopped working showing an error code E-02. I originally called Glotech who charged me a lot of money despite not fixing my machine and leaving me without a dishwasher for weeks. They made me pay for a new heat pump and then told me I would need to pay Β£300 more for a new board. A friend recommended Ken Bowman & Sons and I and I spoke to Neil who advised me that Glotech had misdiagnosed the problem and overcharged me. He then came to my house and spent a considerable amount of time checking the machine and testing the connections and made it work without any new parts! He was extremely professional and helpful and said the machine was fine once he had checked it all over. He did not charge me for doing this, which I thought was very generous considering Glotech charged Β£100 to just look at the outside of the machine. I am very grateful to Neil and would highly recommend Ken Bowman & Sons for their expertise, integrity and excellent service.

    It was a really good experience buying my fridge freezer at Ken Bowman and Son. I was given good advice, with no pressure, and it was delivered the next day. The price was very reasonable - it wouldn't have been cheaper to buy online and I wouldn't have got the same level of service. It came with a 10 year guarantee on parts, too. It was nice to be able to use a trusted local company.

    If you want an accurate diagnosis, Ken Bowman and Son are not your people! Unfortunately this company cost us over Β£500 and misdiagnosed a fault with my dryer, subsequently admitting in writing that it was not a 100% accurate diagnosis. All that was at fault was the socket/switch which they failed to pick up on. They refunded the call out charge but took no responsibility for the huge costs incurred as a result of them

    A1 service highly recommended, they state 10 years in business but the shop has been their since way back in the 80s to my knowledge. Ken & Neil have been in business for decades.

    I've used these guys a few times and they are always very professional. This time, I called them on a Monday about a washing machine issue and they couldn't come until Friday, but I made the appointment. In between, I found someone who could come quicker, and they did and sorted the problem, but I forgot to cancel the Bowman fitter. After he turned up, and was sent away, I called them, with my card details for the abortive visit. Today, 3 days later, they have called to say they have decided not to take the payment, as they appreciated my honesty and it wasn't that far a trip. That is customer service. I'll always use them when I can and recommend others do too.

    Perfect from start to finish. We had a problem with our washing machine. Engineer came during the time we were given. He was very polite and friendly. We were told that we need a new part for our washing machine. Couple of days later I have received a text that the spare part has arrived. I have called them and arranged for their engineer to come back today during morning time. He came at my requested time and fitted the part in 10 minutes. I can't thank them enough. Best service, very friendly and very efficient.

    We had a broken dishwasher (everything was dead). We were given a slot the day after we called, and the repairman came right at the start of the slot. He was friendly and polite. He did extensive testing (which took quite a long time), and by process of elimination identified that the control computer was broken. He advised that it would be better value to buy a new dishwasher than to replace the part. And then gave us a discount on the (already reasonable) call out charge. I'm not sure that you can ask for more than that. Quick, friendly, honest,. stress-free and no hard sell. I'll happily use them again if something else goes wrong. Based on our experience, we're very happy to recommend.
