   It is so annoying to walk to this post office to find it closed. It’s hardly ever open. On the odd occasion it is open, it closes for lunch completely useless for nearby office workers. I don’t understand why they don’t just call it a day. Totally unreliable.

   It seems every time I need to use the post office it's closed even though on the door it says it should be open. He's losing a lot of custom. While I was there yesterday 3 other people turned up saying "he's never open when the advertised hours say he should be"

   I'd really like to be supportive of a local post office for for people living local to Hawarden/ ewloe but I can't here. This post office is hardly ever open, extremely limited hours and is usually also closed at lunch time which truly hurts working people. It's also dark, outdated and aged beyond belief. Changes required.

   Shuts for an hour at lunchtime between 12 and 1pm. The chap behind the glass is very friendly and approachable. Closed for a week now from the 23rd to the 30th September 2024. The only member of staff should get cover for lunchtime and Holidays. That's down to the owners and Post Office Counters to comply. Please don't bother visiting during your lunch break the next post office is miles down the road. Sadly it's up for sale hopefully it will stay open but it's not looking good feels like a lot of small businesses it's being run into the ground.

   Perhaps I'm just unlucky, but on the past few occasions I've tried to use this post office service, it's been closed. I'll try and do more of this work online in future, and should I require over the counter service, I'll drive a mile further and use the Hawarden PO. It's sad to see so many PO's close, as they remain a valuable asset in any community (especially for elder folk), yet the poor service provided by Ewloe PO, is partly responsible for the decline.
