Absolutely love this Salon, so relaxed and welcoming! Lianna is the only stylist that has created what I’ve wanted! Highly recommend!
Rich didn’t an incredible job with my daughter’s hair. She absolutely loves it and so many comments from other people about how good it looks. I strongly recommend Loaf - really excellent and we’re delighted!
I had an extremely upsetting and unprofessional experience at Loaf Hair salon in Sheffield Woodsesats. Despite communicating that I was delayed due to emergency work and still cooking with recent bereavement — and receiving no response suggesting I should cancel — I still attended my booked appointment. Had to drive mikes across the city after unavoidable work delay. On arrival I was ignored at first, then the owner Richard and my booked stylist Lilliana told me that “nobody wants to do your hair now or ever.” I was spoken to in a degrading manner, left feeling completely humiliated. What’s worse, they took my deposit and charged me the remaining payment whilst standing there reduced to tears, even though the service was not provided. There was plenty of time to do at least one hair treatment booked. Instead I was publicly called unreliable and and made feel unwelcome. A paying customer should never be belittled or left in tears. I would expect basic empathy and professionalism, especially when I brought a new client to support their business. She and her stylist witnessed all of this and were left in disbelief by the treatment I received in there! It’s actually a verbal assault and theft that really happened! I was told I would be blocked and I wasn’t allowed to even leave a review in Fresha app they use! Whilst standing there in distress, the salon went in accessing my money and took a remainder of payment meant to pay after the service! Shame!
Ady was amazing. Super fast and efficient so was done after 2 hours when last time it took 4! Lovely chat and very friendly. It was raining when I left so to protect the keratin treatment she wrapped my hair up so it wouldn’t be ruined on my way to the car! Will definitely book with her again next time.
Disaster at Loaf Hairdressers Woodseats My Daughters experience two days before wedding. The wedding was on the Saturday the 12th, the wedding party were leaving to the venue on the 11th early morning. Phone call- appointment was at 10am on the 10th of October and was postponed until 11am an hour later- hairdresser arrived at 11.20 A bleach was put on and it was a success; the lightest rose gold was chosen as my daughter didn't want any strong colour for her wedding and didn't want any bright/luminous pink colours. After putting the colour on, she was left at approximately 1:30 p.m. until past 2.20 p.m. while the hairdresser did 2 other clients who had been waiting, too. On rinsing, the hairdresser proclaimed she didn't know what had happened but her hair had turned purple, She did offer to rinse the hair or make another appointment to rinse on the day we were all travelling but that was all she could do. My daughter-in-law, a former hairdresser, and I teamed up to salvage my daughter's wedding day. She was in such distress, having washed her hair multiple times, which only slightly lightened the colour but did however removed the dyed skin on her forehead (due to lack of skin protection). In my daughter's kitchen, we conducted tests and found that a bleach bath was the most effective solution given the limited time we had. This occurred on a Thursday night and took a gruelling 6 hours to complete. We meticulously documented the process with pictures and steps, including using a pink blush toner. We achieved great results, as evidenced by the last picture showing my daughter looking radiant on her special day. A massive thank you to my daughter-in-law, whose hairdressing expertise and training knowledge saved the day. In response to my daughter's one-star review, the hairdresser from Loaf at Woodseats called and argued with her, saying it was her fault and the colour she chose. As you can see, the lightest Rose Gold is definitely not purple, she again offered to wash it something my daughter had already done she didn't offer anything else to rectify the situation. As a result, we strongly advise against using their services and stand by the one-star rating. We have no intention of returning. To anyone planning to have their hair done with colour, I strongly recommend scheduling it two weeks before ( a hairdressers advice and making sure you are the priority in the appointment) your wedding day to allow for potential mishaps by the hairdresser. Don't get me wrong mistakes happen but owning up to it and doing everything possible, as we did, would have been the better solution not arguing with a distressed bride to be the day before the wedding. You be the judge of the pictures!
I had highlights here and realised a few months later that they had broken some hair and not told me..... Spoke to one of the owners on the phone who asked me to go in so he could look. When I went in I was met by the other owner who was dismissive and unfriendly. He made me feel really uncomfortable and daft for caring that my hair had broken, as though it was my fault! Although eventually he said I could have a free service 'if I wanted', I was made to feel so uncomfortable that I wouldn't visit again, even for free.... I also wouldn't want them to touch my hair again!
Really happy with the service I received today. All the staff very friendly. It was my first time to Salon and Lianna did a wonder job with my colour. Thank you. I will definitely be back.
Me and my Boyfriend went to this hair salon for the first time as our usual one was booked up, we both have long hair and we had exactly the same cut and blow however just because he was a man he was charged half the price and i was charged £16 more than i expected to pay!!! i was shocked by the sexism by this as it’s 2022 and just because he is a man with long hair his hair was £21 and mine was £45. could be classed as discrimination! All in all nice hair cuts but completely over priced!!
