Nice atmosphere great service I think family businesses are the heart of Sheffield and if I was asked to provide an example of a good family business I would only be able to thing of scissors
Authentic family run barbers in the heart of Woodseats. Been going for 30 years and both my sons won’t go anywhere else, even though they no longer live in the area. Says it all.

Quite possibly the worst haircut of my life. Although the guy was friendly, the haircut was nothing like what I wanted. I asked for a skin fade but it more resembles a buzz cut. The side are patchy and the front isn’t even straight. I knew it was bad when he finished after just 10 minutes (!). I expect a haircut to last at least 30 minutes, but this has to be record time for a haircut. I didn’t understand the rush either as there were no other customers, unsurprisingly.
Great service every time. Been going to Scissors since I was a kid. Affordable haircuts, you won't get better value anywhere else. Friendly team who are good for a chat. Modern barbershop. Perfect. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely terrible haircut. So bad I had to go get it cut again the same day. The 2nd barber I went to was shocked how bad the original cut was. I’ve been here 3 times now, the American guy was great but not sure if he is there anymore. The younger guy I had today i was very very unimpressed with. I got a very uneven and none gradual fade. I looked like someone had cut my hair blindfolded
Has been my regular Barber for 5 years. Reasonable price, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, all very competent and professional. If you are taking kids, avoid Saturdays as they are charged full price. They have late night opening on Thursdays until 7pm
