Great price, really quick delivery and the item was well packaged. Will definitely order from Heima again, and everyone should buy at least one Opinel butter knife / spreader, as they're quite lovely.

HEIMA is a fantastic gem of a shop I originally found whilst on a visit to York but now buy from mostly online as I moved away from Yorkshire. I love their ethos regarding item usability and materials sustainability, as well as the elegance and quality of the product selection. I could go on about many of their products I love, but I have to say one of my favourites are the gardening tools. Super robust and hardwearing, we also got some for family members who also love them. And if you shop online, please have read product descriptions until the end - as well as clear, these are witty and will bring a smile to your face.
This shop is wonderful - one of my favourites in York. I love the soaps, the kitchenware, the eco products - everything! And the staff are always really friendly.
I make a special trip into York to visit Heima. Essential for refills and things like washing up brush heads, but they also have some very beautiful and irresistible homewares! Always excellent customer service and, it goes without saying, eco friendly.
Knife sharpening! They did a great job on everything from kitchen knives to hair cutting shears. The shop itself is a treasure trove of sustainable and eco-friendly products. I'm pretty aware of what is normally sold in that regard, but I found many, many gems I didn't realize were available. I can't believe how much variety they manage to carry in such a small space. Make sure you check the back room!
This is the best shop in York and probably one of the best shops I have ever been to! It is absolutely packed full of interesting things, hardware, eco household items, garden stuff, but everything is really well displayed and reasonably priced. It's just perfect.
Such a cute little independent shop. Decided to go in with my friend after going past it on the bus so many times and being intrigued by it. There is a great variety of eco-friendly goods and independent brands. Worth a visit if you are looking to be more environmentally conscious and into supporting smaller businesses. A bit on the pricier side but that is understandable as the products are good quality. Will be visiting again!!
