   This is the first time coming to the Punch Bowl, upon entering the premises we asked the lady behind the bar if we would be ok coming in with our dogs & she kindly said yes as long as keep to the left of the pub. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and we did feel very welcome so the ratings on here are no reflection of her service. We quickly said to each other how lovely the pub was and that it would be great to call in here again with our dogs. We had another drink & then was rudely approached by another involved in the establishment telling us 'land lady just seen dogs on cameras, no dogs allowed you need to go outside' I told her that we had the courtesy of checking with the lady behind the bar and she was ever so rude, not exactly customer friendly. I asked her ok, if you want us to leave refund us for the drinks & also have the consideration to get a notice actually on the door 'no dogs' she refused to refund so we stayed and drank the rest of our drink. I was not being forced out when I have paid for the drinks and asked about whether they accepted dogs. Lots of people like to walk with the dog and call at the pub and there are lots of other pubs locally that accept so I suppose I will take my custom to there instead. To top it off another dog was present upon entry to the pub. Will not come here again.

   Just nipped in here for a quick ice cold pint to wet my whistle. It is the first time I have attended this drinking establishment and overall my opinion is that it is very friendly and clean with nice open spaces.
