   Great Landlord & Landlady, superb selection of drinks at amazing prices. Friendly family orintated pub with kids play area. Music at weekends + live bands. Bingo, darts n dominoes and pool.

   This is first time I've rated this low. I've been to some places were the decor isn't perfect but staff and cleanliness and food have been a high rating ..Regrettably at Red Lion,  the quality of the food has dramatically gone downhill in the last few years. Recent visit, dirty cutlery in jars that have crumbs in the bottom. Even staff don't seem bothered ..food is poor standard. And when politely mention it to staff ..you get comments like 'oh it's never happened before'..when it has but it was never mentioned, just a quick scurry out the door after paying.  I understand some places have their 'off day's'. But when it's constant and you do kindly tell them and clearly they don't seem bothered, it reaches a point when you have to stop going. Over the past 20yrs me and family and friends have had good food and memories there but regrettably unless things improve..I'm sad to say my family and I won't be going ever again.9
