Bland pub with no redeeming qualities. Loads of TV screens all silent and music playing. No real ales. John smiths was the only bitter available. I think you should give this place a miss and try a pub that cares.
A group of us went into the pub, one of our number was ordering the drinks, obviously not fast enough for the manager, some of our group were still outside finishing their cigarettes so the gentleman ordering didn't have the full order. The manager wasn't happy about this and chose to humiliate the gentleman, shouting at him with the karaoke mike. I've worked in customer service for over 40 years, including pubs and clubs and I have never witnessed such an insulting incident or such an abuse of power. As a pub manager she should have been able to handle this situation, she not only let herself down but also the brewery that she represents. No wonder the pub was so empty if this is how customers are treated. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and totally unacceptable. I had to give one star although I would have left none if I could have left a review without.
Good beer, cheap prices, bearded barman was brilliant.
Bit dark and dinchy but cheap drinks
Lots of swearing and shouting. Very rowdy. Overall not a good atmosphere. Didnt feel safe somehow. Only plus was cheap drinks

Very cheap beer prices. Lovely, friendly girl serving. Pub was full of characters.
Aromatic. Definitely a characteristic place or should I say full of characters. Friendly staff, beer was good and good price, we only called in to break the walk into town up.
Pretty standard fare for the area. Reasonable prices, back bar is limited but likely they know what the regulars will and won't drink. Strictly no kids allowed.
