   Just booked a room in a pub, sort of last minute for myself and my wife. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival that we could go up an hour early. The room was clean, tidy, lovely and warm. It also had a small record player with a good eclectic choice of vinyl. What a good idea never seen it before. We slept well and woke up refreshed. Then we went downstairs and had a warm welcome from the landlord and landlady. A great breakfast full English for both of us, including a veggie gluten free version for my wife. Amazing this never happens. We will be back, many thanks.

   Really lovely pub, great vibe and cool interior, friendly and welcoming staff. Room was so nice and breakfast freshly made and delicious. Great location with parking available just opposite. Would highly recommend.

   Nice pub, called in for a quick pint as we were passing. Very traditional feel, nice beer and good atmosphere. A couple of small screens if you want to watch some sport but not obtrusive and the other side of the pub had none of you prefer.

   We have just had a lovely stay at The Golden Eagle for our Wedding Anniversary/Husbands Birthday. The room was absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable and the record player and vinyl were a great touch! Breakfast is included and it was one of the nicest cooked breakfasts we have ever had! Ideal location for all bars and restaurants and a strides walk to the River! Friendly service and the lady with the dark hair (didn't manage to get her name) and Martin made us feel very welcome! Will definitely stay again!

   A very warm and characterful pub with absolutely lovely staff who go out of their way to help. Rooms, not so great. Again full of character - but my windows didn't close properly so i could hear everything happening outside. The nearby museum has a bell that goes off every half hour, all throughout the night so i got zero sleep.

   This is a hidden gem I found by accident, ifs not sport based more community style. It took me a few years to stumble across this and if you've read any of my reviews you'll know I enjoy a guineas and this is the best pint of Guiness in Chester so far enjoy.

   This is the nest pub in chester by far. Warm and friendly Staff are very helpful. Food is excellent. It was like stepping into the past, with lots of retro items in the pub.there is also a smoking area at the rear of the pub witch is beautiful. Well done to management and staff.ps we will be returning in the future.
