   AVOID!! I hired a wallpaper steamer from here and was charged over £80 for 5 days. When I went to collect it, I was there for nearly 30 minutes whilst the guy tried to work out the computer system. When I had booked it online, it never said anything about a deposit or how collection worked which was only explained to me when I arrived. Then when I went to return it, again I was waiting 30 minutes for the guy to work out how to give me my deposit back. I've been overcharged but he couldn't work out how to reimburse me, so I just had to leave without my money. What a joke of a place, its stuck in the last century. Don't waste your time with these idiots, save yourself some money and time and go to HSS, which is half the price and has a more up to date booking system!!

   First time visit to the branch and it was really disappointing. I have a few friends that use Jewson all the time say it’s great but I left this branch none the wiser. I walked into the branch and one colleague was serving a customer and a bunch of what appeared to be managers stood around chatting. I was seen but I waited and I waited until I eventually asked to be served. My partner wanted to leave as the branch was uninviting and colleagues didn’t appear willing to help. I was served by a colleague who seemed disinterested like it was a chore, I mean it is such a hardship to serve your customers. He threw a few samples at us and walked off. No real help at all, we actually got more help from a customer who overheard our conversation. A brick and mortar match but couldn’t help with either, we were told he had some bricks that were like what we needed, maybe if you were using them for a different property. They were not alike at all. So we left and went to Myers Builders Merchants who couldn’t help us enough. We should have gone there first. Unfriendly unless you are a familiar face as a regular customer, customer service has severely lacking to almost none existent. Unwelcoming and just unhelpful.

   What a fantastic service from Jewsons in Huddersfield. I initially called the branch and spoke to Nick, which was so helpful. I used the delivery service which made life so much easier ! Communication throughout was brilliant. All round it was simply excellent customer service and care, thank you Nick and Dean! I will definitely be hiring from Jewson again :-)
