We are refurbishing our front door b/c the existing 'black forged' door furniture is tired, and the door was in a bad state. After doing a vast amount of searching online for reputable door furniture, we came across 'Simplydoorhandles'. We contacted their Sales team by email and were greeted by Lindsay, who helped field my questions and passed them over to Kate. Fast forward to Friday 22/08, new door furniture (except letterbox) has been fitted to the front door. Had placed several items in my basket but not sure if they would all work together. I contacted the company before ordering for reassurance and the lady that helped me was very professional helpful and knowledgeable. On her advice I placed my order this was at 14.45 on 13th of August. At 15.45 on the 14th of August my parcel had been delivered by DPD ( estimated 14.52 to 15.52 ) and left in my safe place. A perfect experience and all goods in perfect condition and at a good price THANK YOU
Absolutely fantastic experience. I know it’s an online-only store, but I decided to visit the warehouse in person, as products can sometimes look different in photos. I had been searching everywhere for these specific handles, and thankfully, this hidden gem had exactly what I needed. The staff — including the owner — were incredibly helpful in ordering the handles I wanted for my kitchen renovation, and at a very competitive price. I wouldn’t hesitate to shop here again. 10/10!
The service was amazing and the staff were very helpful, but the products are not the best. I chose the smooth black Hadley door handle to go on our stable door. It’s been 1 year since delivery so just under a year since installation. It’s described as good for internal and external use. I live inland and not in marine or costal locations. The handle itself has become loose from the frame of the product and rocks and all the screws have rusted and the coating is peeling. I’m disappointed as it’s such a nice product but it just hasn’t held up and no aftercare of the handle was provided so Its not like we’ve missed a step. For this reason I unfortunately wouldn’t purchase again. UPDATE: simply handles have been in contact to arrange a replacement from the manufacturer. The manufacturer denied to replace the product due to the fact the house was rendered after the install (despite the door being covered and not in use during the rendering, otherwise the door would be covered in render) despite this simply handles agreed to provide a replacement which has arrived with me. I would be hesitant to purchase again from the manufacturer M Marcus but I would purchase from simply handles as I believe the aftercare is worth it.
