   We came in for a quick drink after cheshire oaks we had a pint of Heineken which came to £7.40 which I though was very reasonable also the barmaid was very pleasant which is a bonus if we weren't needing to get the train we would of stayed longer

   Away day on the 18th Feb, more than happy to take all our money while we were buying drinks, chatting with the locals, as soon as we started singing the called the police, landlady not friendly, I would advise away fans stay away

   The pub has been my Husbands and my regular for years but when it was Wetherspoons the last lot of Managers used to allow drugs and some nasty people on the premises which I didnt feel comfortable in there . Since its now Amber Taverns its changed dramatically. Firstly the Manageress is fabulous . She has banned most of the nasty people and she has a Zero tolerance on drugs , anyone taking drugs is barred , but she is also fair to people . There is live music at weekend , quizzes and karaoke during week and the pub is now a lovely relaxing place for my Husband and I to go to . So thankyou Shirley and Staff xx
