   Lovely little hidden gem, really good for pool or darts or watching the sports but also such a lovely place to go for a glass of wine with the girls, when you walk through the door it's like walking through a portal into a holiday bar.... Can really forget that your in Ellesmere port.

   After walking past for over two years... We decided to try it. Not only because a few people we know work there, we had heard only good things about Maddisons. We called in at 3pm on a Saturday. Bar was well stocked and we were welcomed with a smile. We opted for a pint of coors and a spiced rum and coke. We asked if there was a beer garden and our server pointed us to our destination. Wow!!! They have a beautiful beer garden full of tables and chairs and screens outside. Clean and tidy as well. Pint was good and the people in there were nice 10/10 We will be returning !!!! I have to mention toilets were immaculate !!!!!

   First time visit since the extension refurbishment but you walk through the door and the atmosphere just hits you, so welcoming and for the vastness of the place it's so cosy. Patrons so friendly. A great place.

   Nicely set bar. Perfectly dealing with social distancing requirements considering how difficult that is to dk once people have has a couple of drinks. The outside section is really nice. Lots of tables and chairs, with a section to protect from the rain. They are in the process of expanding to add another bar area inside too.

   Top bar - well priced drinks & always something happening! Friday & Saturday nights have good music & generally busy. Sunday night is a more quiet night, but can have a lot of fun with Karaoke, regulars & staff. Tuesday can host the pool league amongst other events. Thursday's will sometimes be able to bag yourself a half price pint. I'm yet to experience Mondays & Wednesday's, but will keep you posted :)
