We had our Christmas party meal here last night (All 34 of us) and it was fabulous. The food was perfectly cooked, decent portions, staff were lovely and friendly. All very well organised when serving food. Definitely recommend it!!!

Came here the other day with my grind for some food and was absolutely made up! They’ve got a brilliant menu and lovely staff. The girl behind the bar, Izzy, was polite and helpful. And the food was fantastic, will definitely be back to try more of the menu out

On our way back from Cheshire Oaks and we called in here for lunch. They have some very reasonably priced meals and I tried out the Scampi and chips for main meal and Jam sponge pudding for dessert. Both meals were very tasty and were a good size for the price. They had a good selection of beers and ales and service was excellent. They also have large beer garden outside and quite a big carpark.

Me and hubby went here for a meal yesterday (18th Feb) As it was Saturday and football was on, it was VERY busy! Meal didn’t take too long to arrive and food was really good! Also, we had excellent service by a young lady called LUCY! So much so, that we feel she merits a mention!

We went to breakfast with Santa this morning and what can I say but wow. £6 doesn’t get you far nowadays when it comes to a Christmas fun day. Yet you managed to allow that to happen! Our morning was beyond what I expected for £6. Breakfast, Party games, prizes, music, dancing, balloons, special guests Mickey and Minnie Mouse (my daughter enjoyed her little dance with Minnie) and a gift off Father Christmas himself (who may I add did a fantastic Job engaging the children in their little conversations with him!) thank you for being so family and budget friendly during such a financial struggle and proving we don’t need to pay out ridiculous amounts to allow our children to enjoy Christmas.

Brilliant pub - had a great lunch here on Wednesday. The menu is varied with some great offers during the week on food. Always something going on including tribute nights. We can't wait to go back and see Bruno Mars tribute act. Well worth a visit

So since being back to this pub, I enjoy being with my grandad to have a drink or meal or both. But what I found tonight was that all tables were reserved until later tonight but empty. Now this does not bring a welcoming atmosphere to locals or visitors plus loss of money to the pub. I will still come to this pub because I like it but think for reserved table if for later at night should allow others to use as long as out by certain time. Love this pub.

Great service on a busy night with poker and Big match well done to hard working staff. One bar man got a little ruffled when not giving him more than one drink to get. Not a kid you see and can remember more than one drink at a time. But all you have to say is and! Good guy though.
