   A little gem, my friends & I often drank down Green Lane many years ago but we've since gravitated to the swan or the village, went for a walk down memory lane & popped in the Melbourne, firstly what a lovely pub ! lots to offer with regards to drink selection & a lovely warm welcome, deceptively spacious with lots of screens if sports your thing, take my advice, don't walk past in future, pop in, you won't be disappointed & you will return, I know I will.

   I've started to get the bus up from Tuebrook and have 3 or 4 pints three or four times a week. Why? For me it is a decent pint. The Toilets are Spotlessly clean. I Had a severe personal issue some time ago and that meant a lot to me. The bar staff are friendly. If that isnt enough it is almost a pound a pint cheaper from the other place I have a pint at when the weather isn't so kind but on my doorstep. Places like the Melbourne should be supported as much as possible in today's climate. I for one appreciate the efforts the owners are making in trying to keep a well run public house. At affordable prices. We'll done and thank you. Dave
