   We went for Christmas dinner yesterday and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much bother for them. The staff were all in a great Christmas spirit. The manager Julie came over to personally check if everything was ok and if we needed anything and even managed a little chat with us. The portions were very generous and all very delicious. We're booking for next year. Thank you

   Great Food! Tuesdays Offer £8 for Mix It Up, Fantastic for the price! On the weekends this place can get very busy and you'll be lucky to get a seat unless you can book online.

   Always good food and value at The Hungry Horse chain, we were a family of five, we had four adult meals and one child portion doubled up on the nuggets. The bill came to £37 total and the quality was excellent. A special thanks to Tricia who went above and beyond to make sure our order was to our satisfaction. We returned the following day for breakfast with Santa, our Harry was made up with seeing him. Great staff and good food!

   Obviously outrageous, paid for my food at a reasonable price but i was served by the manager who missed off a meal and then brought out all my familys food but mine. Then had to pay again for my food at full price with no compensation, I'd asked for a medium well steak which later came well done with cold chips. The salt was molded and the tables were sticky, absolutely never again 3/10 would not recommend.

   Well had a table booked and to be honest one of the lads who work got a table for us and cleaned one Ordered starters and drinks got chicken strips with a sauce and chicken legs with a sauce They came with sauce all over the chickens which I thought it would of come as a dip ! Also ordered nachos and they were soggy !! I don’t think I would be back again the food is terrible ☹️

   Great pub and Amazing staff. Had a burger and my better half got chicken skewers. Both meals were great. Really cheap and atmosphere is warm safe very family friendly. Going again Friday:) Thanks nethy staff!!

   A quick edit on my review. We called today for our Sunday dinner, up to now we've just had the regular beef roasts but today the wife pushed the boat out and ordered me a large meal. No problem with the quality of the meal but there was with the quantity. The only difference between the two meals was that the large meal had 3 Yorkshire puddings and the regular had one. Absent difference otherwise. I did mention it to the waitress but she just said that that was the way the large portion was, she said that she would mention it to the manager but no one bothered to come over before we finished and left. Big tip.....don't order a large meal unless you want to overdose on Yorkshire pudding. I've had some pretty awful meals in the Nethy in the past and as a result haven't been in there for a couple of years. I reluctantly went on Friday for my daughter's birthday and what a turn around. I ordered 6 different meals and they were all served within 10 minutes of ordering. Each meal was cooked perfectly and of a reasonable size. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bar staff were also on the ball with the service being quick. I've only got two negative comments, 1. It wasn't very warm in the pub but to mitigate that it was an exceptionally cold night, they did have extra fan heaters on but even so it was a bit uncomfortable. 2. The table that we were allocated, (table 20) doesn't allow much room between the table and the bench seats but then maybe that's an incentive to lose a bit of weight. Would I go back? most definitely.

   Bit of a piss poor performance on this occasion unfortunately. Ordered 2 main meals and a kids meal. 1 main was perfect (fish and chips)where the other (hunters chicken) was very chewy and chips were cold. Kids meal looked very unappealing and the veg sticks were not really suitable for a child (massive chunky things), with the rice mixed with something that may have been carrot and was very bland. We did receive a refund for 1 meal (as my partner was put off and didn't want a replacement). The staff were great and very apologetic.

   I popped in this morning for a cup of tea. The place had obviously recently been cleaned to a very high standard. The music that was playing was suitable for the time of day (0830) and the venue was sparkling. I didn't wait at all for service. The venue is very large and seems to be in sections allowing for large groups to take individual sections. The toilets are very clean and well maintained.
