   Priory Hardwoods went above and beyond when helping me renovate my decrepit hard wood parquet flooring. They gave me tons of advice, trained me how to use their professional quality sanding machines and sold me top quality oils and replacement wood pieces for very reasonable prices. After a bad experience with a cheap DIY sander hired from a large coprate hire company, I could not recommend this company more. You pay a little extra but save sweat, time and tears with their excellent equipment.

   Fantastic service from Bev and Priory Hardwoods and well worth travelling for. Very supportive and spent a long time with us explaining all the different types and colours to ensure we found the right one for our lounge. Chris was a pleasure to have around doing the installation, very efficient and informative. We are very pleased with the end result and we would highly recommend Priory Hardwoods to anyone that needs a new wood floor alongside a great team that provide a quality service.

   I can’t praise Priory Hardwoods enough. Their service, equipment, products, advice and reassurance was super-helpful. I hired equipment from them to spruce up two very different existing wooden floors when I moved into my new house. I was a novice and they showed me loads of samples to help me work out what I wanted to achieve, and fathom out what I needed to do, given the floors I was inheriting. They guided me through the entire process and made sure I had the know-how and detailed kit that I needed for every step. This included loads of hands-on instruction when I picked up the various machinery, so I had seen it demonstrated and had a go before I took it home and did it solo. Their products that I applied to my floors are super hard-wearing and will last for a long number of years. They were on hand at every step of the way, and I called them several times for advice – thank you so much Bev for all your help and patience. The results were superb and I recommend their service and approach 200%.

   I rented a Hummel belt sander and an edge sander from Priory Hardwoods for the weekend. I had a fantastic experience, the equipment worked without any issues, the staff were extremely helpful, giving me a demo on how to use each peice of equipment, giving advice on which grit sandpaper to use and how much to supply. They kindly offered their mobile number to get in touch if I ran into any issues. They also offered a buy-back guarantee on unused sandpaper at the time. Overall it was a really great experience and I'd highly recommended them

   Would highly recommend hiring equipment from Priory Hardwoods - Bev is an absolute angel and took the time to guide us through every step of the way from how to use the equipment to what products we should use to get our desired finish. We travelled from Leeds to hire equipment on 2 occasions and are over the moon with the end result. We will be back when it’s time to tackle upstairs! Thank you Bev

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They provided flooring for a project in Harrogate, but since fitting all gaps have appeared and the owner of Priory won't do anything to fix it - it looks terrible! I feel really sorry for the owner of the project. The tradesmen on site say the flooring needs to be replaced with a better product

   I hired a sander from Tom at Priory and the experience was fantastic. I I have hired sanders elsewhere before, but never have I got this level of service. The knowledge was immense, and shared really well with loads of tips to get a great finish to the floor. The machines work perfectly, and the supplied accessories and consumables also of high quality. Yes you pay more than if you go to HSS hire, but the job takes half the time and is about 1000 times better. You'll neveer get a flat floor with an HSS machine, wheras Tom's machines are top quality and solid as a rock. What's more, the one I hired broke down into two parts so I could easily carry upstairs. For a professional hire service, expert advice and the friendliest experience - I'd hire your sander from here. Certainly will be returning when I decide to tackle downstairs!
