We were made to feel very unwelcome from the moment we arrived. We entered the pub and found a table to sit at. I have persistent pain, so it can be quite painful sitting on hard seats.Β So we sat at a table with the cushioned bench and were almost immediately told to move as it was apparently reserved (there was no reserved sign on the table). As we were standing up, we enquired what time it was reserved from and she didn't respond. The staff member asked us to move do a different small table she had selected. The seat cushions were worn and uncomfortable. The whole place was empty, so it seemed odd. During our time at the table the one we had originally tried to sit at remained empty the whole time. So, I'm uncertain why she wouldn't let us sit there. As it wasn't reserved during the time we were there. We ordered food and drinks on the app. We ended up having to ask for our drinks as they never arrived. This felt very awkward as she already seemed frustrated at our presence. Food came without a word as we were saying thank you. Again very awkward, we had to go up and ask for side plates. From the moment we entered it felt like they wanted us to leave. I used to work at a Stonehouse in Liverpool and it was certainly a different vibe and we were never annoyed at customers for coming in!

This place had the nicest roast dinner and the loveliest staff I've ever experienced since coming to the UK, they have a breakfast menu as well, am looking forward to trying it after the splendid meal I've had here ! 10/10

Brilliant food, lovely service. The plate was piled high and full of carvery which had been freshly cooked because of my allergy. We were in a corner of a very busy restaurant, added to by a number of children out of their seats.acting in an excitable if not a little rowdy manner. Aware the staff can't do a huge amount about this and that it's up to the parents/ guardians. Likely a different atmosphere any other day. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.

I am so dissapointed with my delivery order today of 2 βfull works Carveryββ¦.I ordered 2 and was shocked when I saw the size of them, opened them up to find just 1 Roast potatoe in one of them, the cabbage had a funny taste to it, I didnβt ask for sausage but there was one in both trays , plus 2 pigs blankets β¦. It is supposed to be a 3 meat carvery but there was only 1 little piece of gammon β¦.I feel like Iβve been robbed of Β£25,I WILL NOT be ordering anything from here againβ¦.itβs nothing like the Rocking Horse orders , they put all the items in separate containers, from the meat to the roasties and separate veg, and the Yorkshire puddings are even separate as they are huge ,plus the gray tubs are full, and the Rocking Horse is cheaper , I just thought Iβd try Stonehouse Mons β¦.the picture below is how the carvery was thrown together β¦..disgrace !!!

Poor place for food and not all you can eat for everyone.... avoid if you can. Went here on 29th may for a spot of breakfast. One vegetarian, and one normal.. Paid extra for mushrooms and got two whole mushrooms cut up and deep fried (see the pictures for the poor amount you get). As a vegetarian I asked for some veggie sausages as they are deep fried in the back and was told I am only allowed two??? Wait..the place advertises all you can eat so no one will go hungry and that includes vegans. So if you're a meat eater you can have 20 sausages and no one would be bothered but as a vegetarian I can only have two?? Should be called "all you can eat" (unless you're a vegetarian). Not only this we had to wait for food to be put out, which I can deal with when busy but there was only a handful of people in. They advertise Belgian waffles - well there was one waffle cut up into little tiny pieces. Poor poor place

Been here today to have a carvery. After my friend paid for hers we were then told there was only enough for 1 person left and only turkey so I ordered a crispy poppin chicken for myself (below) and nuggets and chips for my daughter below. No mayo on my wrap I asked why my wrap didnt have mayo to be told even though it was stated on the menu to come with mayo that the only sauce they had was ketchup and as you can see my daughters nuggets where over done. Would not come back again. McDonaldβs would have been better and cheaper.

Food was horrible, burnt, late and cold. The staff would come tell you your food is done so you would pick it up rather than just bring it to you when they were telling you. Nachos were nasty. Cold cheese sauce, pep .. ugh.. not worth giving a second chance. Just don't go.
