“Visited here for a family birthday celebration as part of a group of 13 people. The place is just amazing inside, with fantastic views and a great outdoor area for when the weather is nice. The food, atmosphere, staff were all exceptional too. Food all served at same time, which is not as easy as you'd think for a large group. The staff were charming, happy and couldn't do enough to make our night memorable for all the right reasons. All in all, it was a brilliant night and I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back for our next special occasion.”

“Excellent fun at the Lock and Quay music festival on Saturday. My kids and partner absolutely loved it, especially the bucking bronco which was free for everyone to go on. The horse rides were a great idea and we were so lucky with the weather and the use of the field at the back too. Thanks for arranging it all too.”

“Amazing little spot in Bootle! Hidden gem, food is amazing, Tyler the chefs has done amazing with the menu and can tell really cares about putting out good quality food everytime! Sunday roasts are a must, they're amazing. Angela behind the bar is just a sweetheart and the best! Always service with a smile and so friendly! A credit to the place. Definitely my new favourite local. An amazing beer garden out the back too for the sunny days and some amazing live acts at the weekend that always have a great atmosphere. Love this place.”

“We went for Christmas dinner yesterday and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much bother for them. The staff were all in a great Christmas spirit. The manager Julie came over to personally check if everything was ok and if we needed anything and even managed a little chat with us. The portions were very generous and all very delicious. “Did not dine at the above establishment. Again, the staff are very lovely and helpful. The bar lady helped me to the loo and back again to my table. A combination of the staff and customers brought our drinks over to us as My friend and I are both severe vision impaired. And the barman brought over the card reader, so we could pay. Everything was made very convenient for us and they helped us out from the pub towards the bus stop which is conveniently right in front of the pub. A very good experience. Haven’t been there in many a year but will be going back”
