Amazing micro pub, the answer is yes, this is for you and you should come here. As a pub they have an ever changing 7 cask and 1 keg line, plus a whole host of ciders. The landlord, Phil, knows his stuff. He gets in great beer and cider and looks after it. Kate, the landlady, sets the tone; fun, friendly and inclusive. Their staff are great. There are pub quizzes, theme days, BBQS and celebrations. Local tip: go two doors down and get pizza from 600 Degrees ordered to the pub, get a pint and sit out side of the Grasshopper. Great beer, great pizza. Win, absolute win.

Fantastic local. Just brilliant little pub with proper real ales with something always new added. Andrew and Angie are lovely. Really create a friendly atmosphere. So pleased to be living close to this gem.

Little pub near Hillside Station, the Grasshopper has a selection of nice real ales at reasonable prices, £3.40 or less at the time of posting. Had a quaffable Oatmeal Stout and a tasty IPA. Accepts CAMRA vouchers.

Fantastic little micro pub, it would get 5 stars but sometimes it can be like a dog kennels. Brilliant owners and staff, and the beer is superb. It's just my personal preference but I don't want to have to slalom or step over the dogs on my way to the bar or toilets. Maybe you could designate the side room as the doggie room or out in the backyard. If you get 4, 5 or 6 dog walkers in there who have neglected to train their dogs properly it can be bedlam

Lovely. Friendly family run micro pub. Started by a collective of home brewers. 5 real ales on, well chosen and well kept. The pub is two shops wide so has plenty of seating, with a lovely outdoor area at the front and exceptionally cute back yard. Toilets are nice and clean too. Well worth a visit
