    I originally gave a 5* review but have to change it. Bought a bike for my daughter and paid for it to be assembled which all went well and service was great, the problem is 2 days after collecting and giving to my daughter for her birthday she went to ride it home from school and the handlebars completely came off while she was riding it. Luckily she wasn't going fast and didn't get hurt but I was extremely angry at the time considering I paid for it to be assembled safety and it literally separated in half after a few days. I didn't contact the store because I felt there would be no point but I hope by seeing this it can be avoided happening to anyone else on the future

    Had our new dash cam fitted at Halfords in Leigh. Great workmanship,quick too,the guy was friendly, informative and helpful.. nothing was too much trouble. He explained everything we needed to know and more..would definitely recommend.

    Halfords Leigh. Went for the free bike service and it was fantastic customer service. Very helpful knowledgeable and quick. No waiting round. Can’t fault it. Only problems if I had to be picky are the door isn’t automatic so you have to fight to get in with your bike and the repair shop is upstairs but apart from them two minor things it was nice and easy

    Went into store Tuesday and got helped by the young lad at the counter and asked him if what I was buying was right for my car, he checked on the computer and said yeah it’s fine for your car. Well it wasn’t. I’ve now had to pay for a mechanic to come out and change it to the correct stuff. Will never use again.

    My order was cancelled, no refund has been issued. After contacting Halfords I was informed my item has been reordered. I have not received anything. I've spoken to the live chat on 2 separate occasions with no positive outcome at all. After a further call to Halfords I was put in touch with the store who advised they could reorder the product or give me a refund which I asked for. Refund was received promptly but it was so much hassle I won't bother ordering online from them again.

    Bought a car seat and asked for a free car seat demo. The seat itself is great but the demo left a lot to be desired. I was stood on the busy car park with my 9 month old in the middle of December for over 45 minutes. 3 Halfords employees later and the seat was finally in, but no one was able to explain to me how to move the seat back so I could actually fit my baby in it. I had to lie her on the back seat whilst I wrestled with my old isofix which I had taken out so they could get in the back, get it fitted back in the car so I could get home with her safely in her old seat. My partner then had to read the instructions and fit the seat properly before we could try it out.

    Poor service. Paid for the weFit service for 2 headlight bulbs. After 2 hours I was told they can’t fit them as they’re not “trained” but we can come back in the week for the “expert” to do it. After 2 hours of waiting round, I got nothing but a damaged bumper. Complaint logged. Take your car elsewhere.

    Bought a new battery on 21/11/22 put it on charge for 24hrs with an intelligent charger to make sure battery was fully uo scatch didn't turn car over as I thought it should. So put back on charge until full charged started car again was just as bad. So before I took it back I tried again only to find the battery completely flat. I took the battery back today 28/11/22 only to be told we got another problem battery, and I can't swap the battery I had to go back put back on charge for 12 hrs then test it again this is only going to be the same as before The manager was robotic stuck on the lines there's obviously a problem with some batteries instead of letting me swap for another battery I'm treated like a person who knows nothing but the thing is I do and unlike the robot manager. If I could have given no stars I would and this is the last time I spend a penny in a store that's treats its customer the way I was today

    I called in to get some engine coolant for my car - I was assisted by Scott who was really helpful and directed me to the correct product that I needed. Scott also set me up with a Halfords card and got me £5.00 off my bill, and informed me of other offers available. He made the process very easy and I will definitely be returning to this store.
