   This was my first time using John Atherton autos and I was really impressed. Took my campervan for it's mot which uncovered a problem with the brakes as I was travelling abroad very soon it became an emergency for me. The team there pulled out all the stops to get the problem fixed even though they were very busy can't fault them will definitely be returning thankyou very much.

   What a superbly run garage with professionalism on show with every interaction. Although my car has been a menace lately, I’m glad it went here after behaving badly. They deserve more than the five stars available. Whilst travelling up to the Northeast for a holiday earlier this year, my 4th gear sychro went. When I finally arrived, I called the garage and was rewarded with quite an in-depth conversation about what my issue was and my options, and some general advice about what I should and shouldn’t do with the car until it was fixed. Based on that conversation alone I was really impressed with them and appreciated the time taken to explain things to me including costs. Several months later and some more issues with the car, the garages expertise and professionalism were shining through again. They clearly care about what you think of them and their work, which in turn tells you that they want to do a good job for you, they are reassuringly excellent in every aspect. This is a gem of a business and from now on I’ll be making sure both myself and my family, and anyone else who will listen, use these guys, and that’s how it should be.

   I have used John Atherton Autos for over 30 years and would not consider going anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and always service and repair my car perfectly. They always use the correct oils rather than cheap oils which is so important in a modern car. A great local family run company.

Super appreciative of the staff on the front desk who are absolutely wonderful both over the phone and in person and overall the whole team.
