Came to check out google reviews as I've used this garage for our cars now and again over the years. Shocked to see some poor 1 stars which must be dodgy or fake. I have never had a bad service or repair done at Peacock garage. They are always fully booked a week or more in advance and this is testament to the professionalism they exude. I called on Tuesday of this week as my alternator light was on. I'd called 2 other garages I also use who couldnt look at the car until Friday. Mandy spoke a little about what the issues might be. I'd said I knew they'd be busy but had called in case they might have had a last minute cancellation, she said we haven't but bring it down we can't promise anything but if we have a minute we will take a look. Fast forward to late afternoon, got the call to say it was the alternator, got given a quote and I said please order the parts and fix it when you can. Asked if that might be Wednesday (today) Dave said 'maybe.' Well, they decided to do some overtime and I got a call on Wednesday morning to say the car was ready. Absolutely first class service. Almost feel bad for them working late. But just so grateful to have the car back, thank you.
If you need a quality local garage you won't go wrong with the Peacock. Parking can be a bit of a pickle when it's busy, as you'll need to find a road side spot, but the service from the garage and staff is excellent.
Brilliant customer service. There was a grinding noise on my car so took it in and asked if they could have a look which they where than happy to do. They found the problem and it was ready for me by the end of the day.
Fantastic customer service from here! Given good solid advice to get my car through its MOT for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the garage and the advice they offer.
Easy to book, work carried out and to the price quoted. A great local garage. Oh and I got a good mug of tea as well!!
After breaking down. I was recovered to Peacocks Garage. The lady on reception was helpful and friendly and quick to arrange fir the mechanics to take a look at my car. The car was quickly fixed and I was back on the road within 24 hours. I felt the garage was honest and trustworthy and the cost was much less than expected. I would definitely use this garage again.
