This place is worth every penny. The tasting menu offered a wonderful journey through local ingredients and flavors. Each course was better than the last. Truly a memorable evening.
Good food with really friendly service. Go here if you're nearby but it's not amazing enough to be a destination unto itself.

Busy place, but bookings are well-managed. The food is unremarkable. And pricey. Perhaps they need to cater to the average person's taste, but the result is a bit bland. There are other middle-Eastern restaurants that are significantly better. Service is not up to standard - waiters arriving at one minute intervals to ask if you've made up your mind about what you want (sic); then not knowing how to pour a beer, ending up with half of it spilled on the table (neither beer nor soaking tablecloth replaced); then starters and main courses being served simultaneously resulting in a cold main course. Won't be going back.
Went for a meal on 20 October 2023 and we got a table in the conservatory which was unheated. I had to put my coat back on because my arms were cold. The main part of the restaurant was warm and almost empty so not sure why we were put in the conservatory. My husband’s meal was very nice and piping hot. Mine was nice but lukewarm. I would not normally put up with such service but I was very hungry at the time. A family with two babies were seated next to us. They should have been seated in a warmer environment. They left shortly afterwards with their meal in a bag. All together a very disappointing experience. Was it because we are on holiday and not regulars? We wish we had gone back to Sahara on the High Street where we had an excellent meal the night before.
Amazing food, very nice atmosphere. We had beef on skewer and fish and chips, and grilled octopus and garlic mushrooms for apetisets, both dishes excellent.
Delicious and fresh mediterranean cuisine. Very sad that we discovered it so late!
