   I stumbled on CBG Ltd. by accident a few weeks ago where they checked something out for me. They made no charge for that service so I decided to book my car for an MOT with them. On both occasions the experience has been excellent. Customer service feels something like it used to be many years ago - personal and professional with good advice, and you are made to feel welcome. My garage of choice going forward.

   Another fantastic experience with Crane Bank! I booked my son's car in to look at the exhaust. John fitted me in at no notice and showed me the problem, then suggested a repair option which was much cheaper than I had been told elsewhere (branch of a national chain). Parts were ordered and I was able to drop off and collect the next day. Communication from John was great and he checked with me to authorise the work before it was started. This is how dealing with a garage should be!

   Best thing I ever did when I decided to book mine and my Wife's car in for service and MOT. Very efficient and friendly receptionist. Regular updates throughout the process with work required and costs. Both cars returned nice and clean and in a timely manner. Even supplied me with a little storage bag for the wheel nut key and a tin of sweeties. Nice touch that. I have used main dealers in the past and quite frankly, they are all hopeless and expensive.    Had poor experiences recently with garages in and around Chester. Took note of Google reviews and rang Crane Bank who were very professional, polite, courteous and helpful. They gave me a FREE assessment of a problem I had identified while driving. (Another garage was asking for a £100 upfront just to do the same assessment!! ARGH!!) They examined my vehicle and said what was needed. I made the booking and the job was sorted swiftly, professionally and properly. Expertly handled, at all stages. After which, I was contacted via email by one of the company's directors who had taken the trouble to get in touch and ask if I was happy with the service provided and did I have any worries. How remarkable is that??!! Definitely a first! I honestly can't recommend. Crane Bank highly enough. Very, very professional and deeply caring about how they serve their customers and how their customers perceive the company. I will most certainly use them again for my cars' MOTs, servicing, and repairs. A superb company in what can be a very fraught business finding a garage that can do what you need at a price that is right and provide total professional certainty.

   I've used Crane Bank since I got my first car at 17 (now 53!) apart from a few gaps with company cars they have always been my first choice garage. Just had an MOT done and everything was handled perfectly. They are the nicest most polite people to deal with who call you when they say they will and get the job done. Service that hasn't changed from good old-fashioned service in the 36 years I've been a customer.
