β3rd time visiting this lovely site and we have booked again to come back later this year before we have left, if youβre looking for the perfect quiet get away this is perfect for you! Itβs literally located minutes away via car to the beach, local shops and much more, within walking distance you can visit the garage store (located opposite the site) plus some restaurants within walking distance also, the park is really well maintained plus the most friendly people around and the launderette is perfect to get the washing and drying done before returning home, we hope to purchase a caravan on this site in the next 12/18 months so we can enjoy the site alot more!β
βSite up-to usual club standards and wardens helpful and polite. Location perfect for the designer shopping 15 minute walk away including a Sainsburyβs supermarket and several eating places. Not far from the canal boat museum, Anderton boat lift, Chester - use park and ride just 3 miles away, Port Sunlight garden centre, museum and art gallery and Blakemere Village just a few miles from the Anderton boat lift.β

βBest place we've brought our kid to learn how to swim and we've been coming a while, I like everything about this place. Thanks all staff.β
βAlways a great place we visit every year. The owners are very welcoming and always go out of their way to help. Caravans and lodges spotless and I love the fact WiFi isnβt so easy to connect too so a bonus for us. This is a gem of a place for peace and quiet and to escape the hectic world we all live in. Will definitely be going back and staying for longer. We have 2 children and they enjoy it every time both are in their teens. A real chance to talk and be a family connected with old fashion values. Get a board game out or go for walks together this is a great place to do all that and more.β
βFantastic place for a walk , and free parking.β

βThe boy's 6th birthday. Loads to do and they all had tons of fun. The staff were really good and friendly. The manager/chef in the cafe was super helpful and a credit to the business. Nice coffee also. It was cold sitting around but that was an advantage to the kids jumping and running around. So wrap up if you're sat waiting for the kids. Nice for parties as they have little private party rooms. Recommended as it was a good all-around experience with loads to keep them occupied.β
βGood quality accommodation at a reasonable price. The YHA has a fab recreation room, a communal kitchen, a canteen (serving a 10/10 full English/ continental breakfast) and a onside restaurant. Its also set in the most beautiful grounds around 12-15 minutes drive from Chester.β

βCanβt fault it! They allowed us to check our bags early, the room was big and clean and the bar area was lovely, newly renovated and styled well and comfortable. Most of all the service by all staff was excellent! Especially Tommy, he was so friendly and represented the company well!β
βVenue Hire Review: My dad recently passed away and we wanted somewhere private to hold a Celebration of Life with his family and friends. I therefore reached out to a few places to find out what they could offer and enquire about the room and buffet options they had available. The Holiday Inn Chester West replied quite quickly, but most importantly they offered their condolences before going into any kind of sales pitch, which the other companies did not. Harriet sent us a lovely Celebration of Life brochure and said that we were welcome to visit to see the room available, so we arranged to take my mum up a couple of days later. We were extremely impressed with what was on offer for the price and therefore paid the deposit there and then. On the day itself the service provided exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully decorated and just the right size for our guests. The food was delicious and plentiful and there was a great choice available to suit all tastes. There was a Bluetooth speaker available, so we created a Spotify playlist of some of my dads favourite songs which helped to create a lovely atmosphere and the staff also helped us to set up a photo display that I had created, along with a beautiful memory table. All of the staff were absolutely brilliant and I cannot thank them enough for helping us arrange a lovely Celebration of Life during what was a difficult and emotional time for us all.β

βWe had a wonderful stay at the Village Hotel Chester St. Davidβs! Holly at reception was incredibly kind and understanding β she helped us change the dates of our stay due to illness, which we really appreciated. Everyone we met was super friendly and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food deals were fantastic, especially with the app discounts β excellent value for money and great quality. Breakfast was brilliant too β plenty of choice, fresh, and tasty with something for everyone. Overall, a really lovely experience with great service and great people. Weβll definitely be back!β

βWonderful. A simply wonderful experience from booking through to departure. Sarah and Danny were wonderful hosts and the quiet serene site was a welcome retreat from Oulton Park circuit. Clean, neat and tidy amenities with super comfy beds and a view of the ponds and night sky, we wished we could have stayed longer and look to return in the new future.β
βI left my 2003 Maserati Spyder in Paulβs capable hands and he delivered me back a stunning new looking vehicle with paint the popped and leather seats that looked more 2023 than 2003! Bye bye sticky buttons tooβ¦ to say I was impressed is an understatement. Highly professional and worthy of a 10/10. Donβt bother looking around and comparing - just get yours booked.β
