   What a lovely find! This cafe is on the canal with beautiful views it's so relaxing sitting in the garden with a coffee watching the boats go by. The food here is delicious. The staff are very friendly.

   Love the Italian bean soup with bread, it’s like a home cooked meal! Great little location on the side of the canal, a nice walk with some lunch is one of my favourite things to do on the weekend. Indoor and outdoor seating available (limited tables inside) and dog friendly outside (not sure on inside). Nice to sit outside and watch the canal boats go through the lock as they pass.

   We didn't eat here but popped in for an ice cream as we walked along the canal. The setting is beautiful, right next to a lock so you can sit and relax and watch the boats. The menu looked lovely and the staff all seemed really friendly. Lots of outdoor seating and beautifully kept plants and gardens.

   I found this place by mistake whilst looking for somewhere else. But what a gem, its beautifully set in extremely tranquil surroundings, the canal runs along side it, so you can opt for a short stay, simply having a drink or a bite to eat in the cafe, whilst watching the barges drop and rise, via the locks, or you can stay longer in the rooms available....either or, whichever option you choose this place is a must see if you want to just relax.

   We visited while on holiday in Denham, there are some beautiful views at the rear and at the front there is the canal lock for you to sit, grab a coffee or a light meal and peacefully watch the passing barges. Though we didn't use this place as a B&B it does offer that service it also has a good sized function room to the rear with views of the flowing river and the lake in the near distance.. This place is Dow a very windy and tight lane, watch out for the speed ramps on approach.. 5* destination

   We stopped in here for a spot of dessert after a disappointing lunch at a nearby pub, while walking along the canal. I think it might be new as I don’t recall seeing it a year ago. The staff were extremely friendly and chatty, and while all the cakes looked very good, I chose the delicious salted caramel brownie. My partner had an ice cream and a beer. We enjoyed sitting on the charming terrace, enjoying the sound of the nearby weir and the respite from the unrelenting noon sun. The place feels like someone’s passion project, as there’s something very homely and welcoming about the place. Next time we are walking in the Colne Valley we’ll probably pop in again.

   Sometimes you just come in to a place that you instatly fell in love with! This is basically where I could see my wedding taking place! Wonderful place... very friendly staff... And the views and surrandings just breathtaking! There's nothing that I wouldn't comment as fantastic.
