   Green wise has become a staple in Fetcham, relaxed atmosphere and a good selection of cakes and in the summer ice cream. It can be a little quieter and the staff can prove a littles slow from the point of purchase to bringing over the coffee on occasion but that it my only gripe. It’s clean and has outdoor seating. Thoroughly worth a visit

   The Costa machine at Sainsbury’s was out of order, so we opted for takeaway coffees instead. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting nearly 25 minutes for my order, despite the café not being particularly busy. It was quite something watching others—mostly takeaway customers—come and go while I remained waiting. When my regular Americano finally arrived, it had milk in it. I couldn’t risk to wait any longer for a correction, so I left it as it was. The three staff members on duty appeared either very new or simply unsure of what they were doing. As someone remarked, they seemed like they’d rather be anywhere else.

   We were really looking forward to coming here as it is supposed to be super environmentally friendly, however the server was very rude! Not only did the interaction start with him being very blunt and looked like he would rather be anywhere else, but they were very inflexible and weren’t prepared to substitute the prosciutto (that wasn’t available) with something else that was on the menu (pastrami). I completely understand that sometimes these things can’t be done but there was no reason to be so rude! Such a shame as we have heard good things :(

   I’ve always loved it here and today the team went above and beyond with customer service. I went in looking for strawberries for pancake day but they had sold out very quickly (probably because of how delicious they are)! Instead I picked up some other bits and as I finished up at the till one of the team (sorry I don’t know his name) handed me the remaining strawberries they had left in the kitchen. It put a big smile on my face!

   FabUlous little place I had a sour dough toasty with pesto, onion and mozzarella with a delicious rocky road washed down with a beautifully presented English tea with soya milk. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Thank you…..visiting your little gem in Ashtead High Street was a real treat.

   Grocery store and cafe in one. Offers fill your own contains items, just bring your own bag or container, fill, weigh and pay. Has a good selection of gluten free and dairy free ingredients or food. The cafe provides coffees, tea and cakes or pastries. Also has sandwiches etc for lunch.
