   A very good garage to take your vehicles to for MOT, servicing and mechanical repairs. I bring my car and campervan here as they're 100% honest, friendly, professional and reliable. Their prices are very reasonable for the work they carry out, and you can always get a complete run down on what they've done and how the job went. I can thoroughly recommend them 5*

The test was completed with full integrity and the repairs completed despite the garage being fully booked - a sign of a credible but trusted business. The communication was first class.    Tom and his staff give excellent customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they all make a lovely team. We have been using Universal Services for many years and what we really appreciate about Tom is that he is always 100% honest about any work which needs doing and explains the reasons behind each job. We wouldn't go anywhere else!! Highly recommended.

   I have been using Universal Services for at least 20 years now, from when they used to be in Howley. I first used Universal Services when a friend asked me to give him a lift to pick up his car after his Vectra suffered a catastrophic failure after his timing belt snapped. The then owner not only repaired the car in good time at a reasonable price, but also showed him all of the parts which had been replaced, and decribed the reason for the failure. (In this case highlighting how the tensioner had been incorrectly fitted by another garage at a standard belt change interval.) Although the failure had been cause by another garage, it was shown without drama, and explained in plain language, in a professional manner. There was no upsale attempts and the then owner of Universal Services also advised other things he had seen, which would need attention but without the 'blag'. I was hooked! Being new to Warrington at the time it was heartening to find a place which I felt I could trust. Since then the business was bought (must be more that 15 years ago at time of writing this; March 2022) by Tom. Tom owns and runs this with his family and the original staff/mechanics/technicians. (Sorry do not know the correct term as I am old school! Either way they are conscientious diligent and professional). The business expanded and moved to its current location, and although where it was before was much better for myself I insisted on continuing to use Universal Services. Universal Services are very busy, the reason becomes obvious, when you give him your cherished car/van to take care of. I am not sure if many people think the way I do, but prior to finding Universal Services I have not had the best experiences with garages (including main dealers) always being given blag and not resolving issues with honesty (I am not a Victor Meldrew, just did an apprenticeship as a fitter turner, and was raised by a helicopter engineer so recognise a red flag when I see it and know when inappropriate work is done when not necessary). Tom has always been honest, and human with his approach to helping his customers, often going the extra mile to help me out. I have noted that the same ethos is applied to his other customers. This is the longest review I have ever written (probably not he best but writing is not my forte), this is because as a business and the family that run it, I genuinely feel privileged to have used Universal Services over the years, and Tom if you ever see and read this, then please note, that I hold you in the highest regard and wish you all the best for Universal Services in the future. Thank you.

   Great garage to use in Warrington. The team were extremely friendly and very helpful when explaining the MOT results. Very transparent on costs and work needed and wont gouge you for extra work that you dont need. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
