No1 Old Road Garage Ltd is a great garage the guys in there really helped me out. My car broke down with a clutch issue and I was stuck with no car so I couldn’t get to work. I phoned No1 Old Road Garage Ltd which was recommended to me by a friend. The guys couldn’t be more accommodating and the best thing is after I told them my situation about not being able to get to work. They fitted me in straight away and turned the car around within 24 hrs I had the car ready the next day for work unbelievable. Thanks Guys
I have a 19 year-old old Golf which I have had since new and love driving. It failed its MOT last week because of rust on the sills and on the underside of the car body. Having poked a number of soft areas on each sill, my mechanic set my expectation that my beloved car had pretty much had it: it would likely need extensive bodywork repairs which would be uneconomical. It didnt help that I then spent the evening Googling about how rust can eat up the car and that it is usually terminal - yikes! Enter, Jay and Martin at No 1 Old Road Garage. They evaluated the rust, quoted me a fixed price to fix, which they stuck to when even more rust was discovered, and they got the work done in a day. I am absolutely delighted with the service, and have no hesitation in recommending them. Martin and Jay are top guys, whom you can trust.
Great garage. Another garage had my car for 4 days before telling me they couldn't fix the issue. Spoke to Jay at No1 on a Saturday at midday, took car in at 3pm, fixed and ready to drive away by 5:30pm same day for a lower price than the other garage. Fixed a faulty numberplate bulb they noticed for no extra charge too. Professional and friendly throughout, highly recommended.
Been to this garage a few times for different services, the lads working there are reliable and always find time to squeeze you in, have used this garage for a service, brakes replacement, MOT's and even some welding work. Work carried out has always been reasonably priced and never had any issues. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a mechanic.
