Not a customer but someone sent by an external company to do work for this garage on one of their customers vehicles. On starting work we were aggressively kicked off site by a lad claiming to be the owner, told we can't do any work on 'his site'. When we asked where to take it he said 'not my problem.' when we asked why he says 'cos I said so'. We were forced to take a vehicle onto a public road with no valid MOT. This garage do not care about your vehicles. Avoid.

I took my Van here for an MOT in the Summer of 2024, they gave a long list of major defects and advisories. For example, there was so much rust underneath that it needed welding, or so they said. When the mechanic called me to say It had failed, he casually mentioned they will keep it until Monday ( it was Saturday ) and would quote me for the work. I said no and he seemed surprised by this. I picked my vehicle up and the MOT Class 7 was Β£55. I wanted to pay with the the exact money, a Β£50 note and a Β£5 note. They refused, and of course they do not give you your keys until you pay. Little did they know I work as a Mechanic for an adventure company In Iceland, I live there, where I modify minibuses for off road use and to take clients to the glaciers. Of course when visiting family in the UK, I wanted to renew the MOT on my Van as I am not here often. There was none of the major defects they mentioned, especially it didn't need any welding. They see someone they don't know and decide to try and make a few extra quid out of you. They are CON men. NEVER take you vehicle to a place that does both MOTs and repairs if you don't know them personally. It will be very expensive. The van passed it's MOT with no advisories at another garage, just as it had done the year before. I don't not recommend at all.

I have used this garage for the last 7years since moving into the area. I have always found them honest, friendly and reliable. I recently took my new car to them in a panic they didnβt charge me for putting the car up on the ramp and having a look at it. They took their time to explain to me what to do next (as it was a fault by the dealership I bought the car from). fantastic bunch of lads. Thanks again

!!!DO NOT GET YOUR MOT DONE HERE!!! I booked a CAT4 MOT which failed due to "worn front break disks" and "worn front suspension wishbones" and misalignment. Quoted Β£800 for the repair including parts and labour. I declined and took the car to a Volkswagen garage and the mechanic assessed the car and deemed it should not have failed the test and nothing was wrong with the parts failed. MOT was redone at the VW garage and passed with flying colours with no work done. Warrington MOT Centre will try and scam you out of repairs that are not needed, potentially people who they believe are not car savvy. Beware!

I booked for a Saturday but this was cancelled due to a staff member having emergency leave and was brought forward as day instead. Left my car there all day as I was at work. Unfortunately they were unable to perform the work as they had problems with two vans that had to stay on the ramp. When I arrived the vans were on the ramp as stated. I have no problem with any of this and is all understandable. Sometimes work takes longer and things have to be cancelled. She did also take it into consideration when I said the MOT was running out the next day and double checked it couldnβt be done. All frustrating but understandable. What I didnβt like was after all that I phoned up at 1645 saying I was walking back to pick up the car but there was a chance I could be around 1730(when they close) but I am on my way and please donβt leave (but hopefully slightly earlier). The response I received was that if I got there at 1730 they would have left and I have to get there earlier. I was making every effort to get there as early as possible but this just made me feel like they werenβt doing my car as they wanted to go home early on a friday(which I know they werenβt as the vans were on the ramps). All they had to do was hand the key back. Ran there and made good time and arrived at 1712 as their response made me feel like they wouldnβt be there if I got there at 1715 let alone 1725. After being so busy they couldnβt do my job and cancelling my first appointment I would have thought they would have slightly more consideration.
