   We had an appointment on the Mezzanine floor for eye check up and when finished we came down to have lunch. Ordered a chicken mozzarella pesto ( the chicken was slimy and took it up with the staff Holly she did say that some itmes are left unattended plus no pesto and the completely cold) also order jacket potato again cold not enough cheese or beans. At the same time anothe lady order jacket potato and found the same problem took it up to the staff complaining. What we found the the staff was racist as we were Asian the the lady was English and the staff couldnt give refund told by the boss not too so shae gaive this lady money out of the tip bottle. The staff kept giving us the phone to talk to the boss all we wanted is a refund of £5.95 and they created quite a scene.The council ought to knoow that the quality of food is not been given to standard also all the dishes cup were lying around unwashed when we told the staff we are going to take photos she started washing and cleaning and told us dont take photos.I would be caustious in using this place they have been rude dirty and service awful.

   There is seating both out on the balcony (but still indoors) or in the café itself. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The coffee and pastry were both delicious. The attached photo was taken from our table looking into the library next door.

   Awful and rude customer service! (Racism) Today I feel that me and my friend have been discriminated against due to our race- which I find disgraceful! We entered the coffee shop planning on getting a meal to share. We sat down at a table to read the menu and we where rudely approached by a man asking us in a very aggressive tone whether we were going to order food. Despite his aggressive tone, we politely responded stating that we were browsing the menu. Around a minute passed and we where rudely approached again and asked to leave! We asked why the reason was and he shouted “Because you haven’t ordered any food!”. May I say that there were people who hadn’t yet ordered food who weren’t approached once! These people all happened to be white. This is a clear representation of racial profiling. I will not be coming back.

   One of the best coffee shops in Epsom people! First things first- it has nice open plan seating, glass walls that gives an elevated look over the Market walk and it really just gives that nice room to think feeling. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, they have a selection of cakes, assorted cans and bottled drinks, along with a few brunch options as well. I usually like to go here solo on Saturday to hit the reset button, well worth a visit trust me.
