Nice cakes and pasties. Main issue is that if you see a queue you could be waiting a very long time. If someone has ordered something that needs cooking to order the guy disappears for several minutes, so you have to factor in that the other people in front of you might also want something cooked. Several times I've not bothered when seeing a queue, having once waited 20 minutes before giving up. No queue, happy days!

My favourite place around. Comfort food at its finest, fresh and made with love by Kiosk Kieth! The charitable work the Tea Hut does makes the cause almost as appealing as the food itself. Prices are brilliant, cash only being a minor inconvenience but aided by the Cash machine at Tattenham Corner Co-op shop. Greasy butties, sandwiches, chips, burgers, pastries and confectionaries offer the ideal menu for a shack on the downs. Car park behind if you're coming just for the food too. Keith is lovely and easy to talk to, and regularly end up chatting to other customers as we patiently wait for scrumptious sandwiches. Can sometimes wait a little while for food during peak times but the quality, coupled with the price, makes it totally worth the wait. Will never stop coming

I love this little tea hut on the downs. The gentlemen that works there ( I think he owns it) is super friendly. I love all the sweet treats, and he makes a good cuppa. It feels so olde worlde which again I love as you don’t get many places that give you a smile, take cash only and say god bless after each order. I feel like it’s a pleasant reminder of a time that once was. I would highly recommend stopping in post walk or catching up with friends with a bite to each while relaxing on the benches outside.

Really does have the best chips in Surrey, Cornish pasties are so yummy! Food with a view, what more can you ask for.

If the weather is fair to middling a brisk walk around Epsom racecourse is highly recommended. Various routes are available for your walk, some short some long. Our walk finished by passing the Grandstand, a very outstanding building. You can't go walking without visiting the tea hut. Excellent food together with hot and cold drinks to take away or sit on the various benches available. Good parking facilities behind hut which overlook the course. Highly recommended

Always nice food and service. Would be a 5 if they did card, and if they put a big sign up saying they don't do card, so you don't queue up with your 6 year old for 15 minutes and let her get excited about getting an ice cream only for the sudden disappointment when you get to the counter and get told it is cash only!

Good value for money and all served with a smile. A nice area to sit during the day with nice views and plenty of parking. What I also like is that the owner will always clear up around his business to keep everything tidy. I feel that shows you how important his business is to him.
