   A wonderful place to visit. Part of the charity Waythrough, the Old Moat operates a garden centre, cafe, gift shop and walled garden...and wellbeing service for local people dealing with mental health challenges. Well worth supporting and tasty home made cakes!

   Lovely treasure trove of plants, outdoor mirrors and fab xmas items .. all at great value prices. The center is run as a charity to help support mental heath so well worth a visit. Tried the cafe.. the staff are lovely and the food wholesome and delicious and aga8n great value. Lovely place.

   Its a decent little and local garden centre, can be hit and miss for products but what they have is nice. They also had the furry shaft I needed for my cheese plant, see photos. They sell coffee too.

   Fantastic nursery/garden centre. Selection of plants is not massive, but are still in good condition and average in price. I really love the walled garden area, i have watched it change over the yrs, its looking fabulous. Nice little cafe, toilets too. Nice place to come for an hour or two.

   This is a cool place and elegantly furnished. The meals are tasty and well prepared under very high hygienic condition. The meals are well selected to cater for the elderly. It comprises of well balanced meals and assorted sides. The dining area is well lit and comfortable. the accessibility is well adapted to cater for all disabilities. There is room for everyone in the Cafe. You will have the opportunity to view different natural scenes. The staff will ensure you have all that will make you comfortable. You should come dine. There is enough space for cars to park

   Great local garden centre and small cafe. Make sure you stop by to support this smaller businesses rather than the big commercial centres near by. Friendly staff and volunteers. Lovely tea & cake. Lots of free parking too.

   We had an hour to kill on Sunday, sadly we weren’t dressed for a muddy walk so took a look around this garden centre which I have to say was in fact, time well spent! Lots of nice little bits and pieces for the home and garden, gifts, pottery, furniture etc Ample car parking on site, there is also a walled garden which we didn’t visit.

   This is a lovely garden centre to visit as everything is easily accessible. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and dedicated, everything you buy supports the fellowship which is a brilliant cause. I am extremely thankful for there allowing dogs in policy during the pandemic. 5*

   The Old Moat Garden Center is very lovely and quiet. They do freshly baked cakes and baked good at the cafe. Outside seats are available and private and not much if any road noise can be heard. The garden centre itself is not too large and offers everything you need.

   An under rated place to stop for coffee and cake then buy a few plants for the garden. Lunch or breakfast options are good. Always glad to support their work rather than a big commercial outlet. The recent refurbishment adds a lot. The new walled garden is a great place to sit for a coffee with space for the kids to run around. Good options for gluten free and vegan. Dog friendly. Recommended.
