We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.

A really wonderful addition to the park with a friendly owner and lovely staff who take an interest in you and create a wonderful atmosphere. The experience is only heightened when you taste the food and the coffee here is exceptional, and I couldn’t resist ordering their freshly baked cakes. Can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend!

Very lovely cafe, with a calming view of the park and inside and outside seating . Coffee and cake was great, they put a lot of effort into their menu, everything is nicely thought out. Fresh orange juice was available and I highly recommend the fresh lemon and ginger tea. Very cute - the owner is lovely and bakes fresh deserts, provided a cosy and comfortable environment. The cafe has an open area with kid friendly activities also. Highly recommended ❤️ There is no WiFi here so only suitable for working/ studying if you have data on the go. When I went it was quiet and the owner was very accommodating when I asked if it was laptop friendly - Will be back :)

Its a shame leaving this review as i have had many happy times here with my children and bought many friends with us to support a local buisness but after a shocking experience last week i wont be returning. We visited with friends and children were happily playing- 1.5 hours into our visit my friends toddler son was hot from bouncing on bouncy castle in the heat (hot day!) and took his top off like a few other boys had also done due to the heat. New Woman owner sends a staff member over to me to rudely and abruptly tell me “YOUR SON HAS HIS TOP OFF, ITS INAPROPRIATE I HAVE TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE OR PUT IT ON” Firstly the child is not my son, and the way i was rudely aproached was not ok. My friend asked why its inapropriate? The staff became even more rude and the new woman owner called her husband who was even more rude on the phone to us! We demanded a refund for the bouncy castle as it cost us £9 for the kids to jump and left. Such a shame the new owners have ruined it. Have had issues in the past regarding staff not being trained properly on allergies also.

It's lovely to have a cafe that is baby and toddler friendly. My baby and I stayed there for a couple of hours because she was so entertained. However, the bread for the children's menu is highly processed and white. This is a huge shame. There is a wide range of lovely, homemade cakes- why the processed white bread for children? The cafe uses much nicer bread for the adult sandwiches.

Great place to gather, meet friends or bring children. Staff are friendly and highly accommodating. It's open all year long which is a bonus for last minutes play dates. Try the courtyard special sandwich... you can thank me later!

What a fantastic hidden gem. We had my sons 3rd Birthday party here on Saturday and Jen did everything she could to make it run smoothly. It was the perfect space, set up so beautifully and the food and presentation were fantastic. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food and coffee was too! Added extra was the sandpit and ride on toys!

Beautiful cafe in stunning surroundings. So much for the kids to do outside, the staff are so kind and the sandwiches / coffees / cakes were fantastic. Such a lovely cafe that we spent a very relaxing (even with the kids), whole afternoon in the sun. We will be coming back lots. Very much recommend to anybody in the area.

It’s been under various owners last few years but the most recent is brilliant. They mainly sell sweet savoury food (croissant, muffin, cakes , biscuits) and sandwiches - but the quality is really high. Coffee is delicious and there is plenty for the kids to do outside - including a sandpit and kids camping tent!
