“A group of us go to the cafe after our Nordic walk in nearby Trent Park. Its run by volunteers, so friendly and nice. The food and drinks are lovely, especially the home made cake.”
“I had an omlette with my coffee and the portion was generous, very well cooked and even included an edible salad garnish! It’s hard to get good food with your coffee - very impressed.”
“This sort of coffee shop would not have existed in East Barnet Village (EBV) just 15 years ago. Things are changing, and for the better. Such a nice place to come and read, or talk with friends, or bring your laptop and do some work. The coffee is delicious (served at drinking temperature) and they have a girl who can draw anything on the top of it. A drosophila, a seal, a polar bear, a snowman, or a seahorse, a mouse, a house, even the big ball of hydrogen in the sky (the Sun), you name it, she can draw it. EBV is on the up. The only thing holding back businesses is the awful road - the road detracts from the experience of doing anything in the village. With time, this problem shall be solved. Elite cafe. Well worth a visit.”
“Angel Cafe is one of my favourite places to go. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, and the service is genuinely amazing every time. It’s such a lovely atmosphere really cosy and relaxing. The food is always fresh and delicious, and there’s such a great variety to choose from. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything, and it’s just a really nice place to spend time, whether you’re catching up with friends or just grabbing something on your own. Highly recommend!”
“Very nice staff and pleasant coffee shop with authentic Greek products. We tried the orange pie which was very moist and fresh and the spanakopita. The coffee was really tasty as well. The place was clean and quiet.”
“I love this little branch of Costa. It’s more relaxed than others. Clean and I like the decor. The staff (Harish and Iwona) is very helpful and friendly. Definitely a favourite of mine.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the best coffee in Barnet! Every visit to this lovely local coffee shop is a treat — the coffee is consistently amazing, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home, especially Salvatore, who never fails to brighten my mornings with his friendly smile and great service. A real gem in the heart of Barnet — highly recommended!”
“My favourite Costa and almost on my doorstep so I can walk there. Best coffee outlet on the retail park. Staff are fantastic and take great pride in their customers' enjoyment of the Costa goodies on offer. There are the occasional queues because it is small (but so good its worth the wait). The loo situation is not great, but that's down to Next not the Costa staff!”
“A great coffee house, clean , staff are friendly, good service”
“Delicious food, extremely friendly staff! Highly recommended ❤️”
“Good quality ingredients used, food tastes amazing. I would highly recommend eating here if you get the chance.”
“A lovely hidden gem just opposite Sainsburys in New Barnet. Really lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee and even better food. I had Halloumi, mushrooms and poached eggs on sourdough bread and it was delicious.”
“Fantastic food, lovely friendly staff, clean and a very varied menu. Would highly recommend.”
“I would rate this 6 stars if I could! The food was fantastic (best brunch I’ve had in a long time!) and the staff were warm and friendly - couldn’t have been lovelier! We’ll definitely be back”
“One of my favourite pubs, for the interior and friendly staff. Outside is well catered for with large parasols. Food is good for the price. But make sure you get your dessert order in.”
“We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.”
“I visited this place the first week it was opened. The place is so clean and bright and the salad selection is colourful and fresh. I had a coffee and ciabatta which honestly is the reason I am writing this review. The ciabatta was delicious and a very nice latte so thank you”
“I like it here, its sweet and tasty.”
