This sort of coffee shop would not have existed in East Barnet Village (EBV) just 15 years ago. Things are changing, and for the better. Such a nice place to come and read, or talk with friends, or bring your laptop and do some work. The coffee is delicious (served at drinking temperature) and they have a girl who can draw anything on the top of it. A drosophila, a seal, a polar bear, a snowman, or a seahorse, a mouse, a house, even the big ball of hydrogen in the sky (the Sun), you name it, she can draw it. EBV is on the up. The only thing holding back businesses is the awful road - the road detracts from the experience of doing anything in the village. With time, this problem shall be solved. Elite cafe. Well worth a visit.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! No seriously the BEST. Best coffee, best staff, best toasties and best atmosphere. We love coming here everyday, the girls have become a big part of our morning ritual. It’s a joy to have such a quality coffee shop in the village. WE LOVE IT!

It’s a very quiet, cozy place. As I understand, it’s a small Barclays bank retail branch. It gets pretty busy in the morning. You can’t park directly in front of the café, but there is a parking lot in the backyard just a 1-minute walk away. The coffee was good, and although the sandwiches were a bit overcooked, they were still tasty. It took about 5–7 minutes for them to prepare our order. Overall, it’s a good place to spend 15–20 minutes and have a chat with a friend.

Really lovely, accommodating staff. The best matcha and banana bread. Child-friendly facilities with an amazing playroom out back.

Unfortunately I won't be coming here again because of the service and price. I went there today for a flat white to have in. I paid £3.50. There wasn't a crowd. People who ordered before me and after got served their food and drinks before I was given my flat white. It was a considerable wait. At that point, I was almost about to leave without my drink. The coffee itself wasn't anything special so it didn't justify the price. I'm happy folks are enjoying this spot. Looked to be very favourite for folks on a Sunday with children, which is great. But if you're looking for a good cup of coffee, fairly priced, and handed to you with reasonable time, my experience would say this isn't the right place for it. At least not on a Sunday 11am.

A beautifully-presented space with delicious coffee, bakes and really lovely service. It is dog friendly at the front and you're welcome with laptops too. I cannot believe this is the same building as the old Barclays Bank - they've done a phenomenal job! A brilliant addition to the village.

We came to the old bank coffee house with some Friends today and had a wonderful time. All the staff where so friendly and helpful. There is also a lovely play area at the back of the restaurant for all ages. We will be coming back for sure.

it is a nice enough coffee shop, decor, good coffee, etc. However - as said by previous reviewers - charging 50p for oat milk is not good! i know the owners think this is justified but i do not agree. I like going to cafes and supporting local independent shops so i tried this place once but i will not be back.

Fantastic to see this open. We were welcomed, not just served. You have the choice of a quiet area at the rear of the building for parents and small children, or a beuatifully furnished social area to enjoy a luxury coffee and treat. Comfortably air-conditioned means the sunlight flooding the space can be enjoyed. Very impressive. Will be back.
