   Ordered deliver. Egg bacon sandwich, the bread was thin not thick like the picture shown (thick crusty bread), full portion of mushrooms(not in the sandwich), and the lamb chop dinner consisting of 3 lamb chops, roast potatoes, peas, boiled cabbage. The mushrooms came in a small polysterine container the portion was tiny (meant to be full portion). The roast potatoes tasted as if they had been fried in old oil and smelt bad they looked like frozen ones fried in some nasty old oil, could not eat the potatoes!

   I only had two things from their menu so far: Apple crumble with custard served in the kind of plastic dish that brought back memories of primary school and Lavazza black coffee. Amazing to find a cafe that serves Lavazza. Both items were perfect. The crumble had exactly the right amount of custard as if they'd been taught their art in an underground culinary school of custard and then sworn to secrecy. The staff were all personable and cheerful. No surprise that this cafe has so many regulars. I even nodded to someone whose eyes met mine and they nodded back as if none of us were strangers here. Even outside customers to whom I'd never spoken still took time to treat me like a human being as if this is the real england everyone talks about. Perhaps this cafe should be renamed Oasis away from the Madness.

   The food was great, I have been here 2 times now, and I've cleaned off the plate every time. The atmosphere is nice and warm, nice tables and comfortable chairs. Really great cafe.

   Me and my wife visited with my grandson and the very friendly staff all knew him which was lovely to see and the food was served up lovely and hot,so first class food will definitely be visiting again in the very near future couldn't fault the place.

   Tasty food, for £5.70 you get 2 sausages, and other great tasty, breakfast items. But keep in mind none of the breakfast served gets no free tea or coffee. Tasty food, great polite service, with a smile. Big portions will keep you warm all day long. Instagram: Bobby.travels
