“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“The place is amazing. I have been coming here since being in secondary school down the road and it has always been so friendly here. The food and service is amazing as the staff are great every time. Also the “H’s Super Bowl (with fruit)” is incredible and would definitely recommend (look at attached pictures).”

“Me and the missus have been twice here with the kids already. Döner is my thing and boy do they know how to prepare those! My wife loves the lamb chops and chicken shish and the kids burgers the first time and pancakes the second. The place is clean, airy and with extremely attentive staff. We'll be coming back guys! “Galaxy Cafe – A Cozy Spot with a Decent Veggie Breakfast I recently visited Galaxy Cafe and had a pleasant experience overall. We ordered the 2 Veg 1 item, which came with a nice combo of coffee, toasted bread, beans, 2 poached eggs, 2 veggie sausages, and 2 hash browns. The portion was satisfying and well put together. The taste was average—not extraordinary—but everything was cooked well and served warm. The veggie sausages and poached eggs stood out slightly in terms of flavor, and the toasted bread was nicely crisped. The coffee was a good companion to the meal, rounding out the breakfast feel. The place itself has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it enjoyable to dine in. While the food didn’t completely blow me away, I did love the atmosphere and would definitely come back for a casual bite. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐½ (3.5/5) A solid spot for a laid-back veggie breakfast.”

“The chicken waffle was absolutely amazing, fresh and flavourful. The waffle was so spongy and was very easy to eat and not too filling at all. You can really tell that everything is made freshly on the day. On top of this the staff is so lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back!!”

“I have been to Dottys a number of times for breakfast and always been impressed. Today I took my son for the Elf Afternoon Tea and was so happy with everything. Plenty of lovely sandwiches, and amazing sausage rolls as well as the scones. There was a themed cookie which not only looked but tasted amazing. My son was so pleased and I'd happily book again for afternoon tea, worth every penny.”

“Although we visited with a very large party there was plenty of room for us all to be sat relatively close together! Considering we put in a lot of food and drink orders in a short space of time, the wait wasn’t longer than necessary at all. We had a look at the lunch menu and as soon as we noticed the battered haddock and tartar sandwich, we were sold! The haddock was perfectly cooked and crispy with a decent amount of tartar which complimented perfectly. Our side of fries was also extra yummy and served with wild garlic mayo which was amazing! Somebody else on our table ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese with many comments of how delicious it was; filled with a generous amount of salmon! Lastly and quite importantly we were very happy to see vegetable crudités and humous on the kids menu, as often it’s easy to order for young children but not necessarily for babies and this was a perfect option. We just asked for cucumber rather than the carrots to stay on the safe side, and they came in perfect slices - great for baby led weaning when out on the go. The humous was lovely and definitely tasted homemade! We will 100% be coming back here again:)”

“Have spent few hours this morning, had a Sunday coffee by the pond. Very nice and quiet sitting area, staff is lovely and coffee was lovely. There were few tables inside but we sat outside and have a view of ducks in the pond, Church, park across the road and passing by traffic. I would suggest to visit on the weekend morning and enjoy some quality time there...... P.s. on Sunday the parking was free on the road leading to the meusem and tea room. Coffee”
