   The Teahouse at Petersham Nurseries is a truly amazing experience, offering a perfect escape on either a lovely sunny day or a cozy rainy one. Located in the heart of Richmond, it's one of the best places to come with family, friends, pets, or even for a quiet moment on your own. Set within the main Petersham Nurseries location, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for: natural, organic, and effortlessly beautiful. We visited on an autumn day and found it incredibly cozy and welcoming. The Teahouse offers a wonderful selection of seasonal food, cakes, and desserts, accompanied by a very good set of drinks. While it's probably a bit more expensive than your average café, the quality and the unique atmosphere make it absolutely worth it. We had a wonderful time just enjoying life in such a special place. We loved it.

   Sadly going to have to echo the more recent 1 star reviews. Our order was taken and then 30 minuets later we realised no tea, drinks or food had arrived and we questioned it to find out our waiter went on a break and didn’t bother putting it through…food was tasty but it’s small plates disgusted as big plates and big plate cost ( very deceiving ). Lots of people around us were annoyed and some quite rudely toward wait staff and discounts were given. It’s an attractive place to eat when the sun is shining, but the staff are really not up to par at the moment which is clearly echoed by other recent reviews. Go on a very bright sunny day and expect very small portions for a high cost and scones dryer than baked sand. Definitely question the ‘discretionary ‘ service charge.

   You can visit here to buy indoor plants,large selection of tree and shrubs and container plants, plant pots, beautiful homeware pieces . The cafe is decorated with amazing seasonal flower and table scape as well as cosy fireplace in winter! There is a good waiting time most of the time as it gets very busy lunch time! Large groups should book. The restaurant might need pre book as well and menu changes often. High tea area is beautiful and needs prebooking too!

   The Afternoon Tea was genuinely faultless from start to finish. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The vegetarian options were superb – particularly the wrap and the tomato/tofu cream. We'll be dreaming of the meringue, eclair and scones for weeks! The staff were so accommodating, attentive and helpful. I'm already looking for another excuse to visit again!

   We had the most beautiful afternoon! This is such a special place in Richmond . We ate in the midst of one of the most well stocked nurseries! The weather was perfect . The service is excellent & menu is adequate! I had the courgette salad which I absolutely loved & the vegan cake with cardamom & pistachios! Please note , parking can be a challenge!

   The tea house at Peterham Nurseries offers a really unique afternoon tea experience. The set menu is £45 a person and includes a large selection of savoury bites and sweet options and scones. The setting is also very relaxed and the tea selection was impressive too. Highly recommend!

   This is cosy place in a quiet area. The cafe and tea house both sit within the nursery which provides a beautiful and unique atmosphere. The tea house has a relaxed and unpretentious vibe. The food is quite simple but very fresh and tasty. The cakes are definitely a must. And staff were very friendly. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

   We visited during a sunny Saturday morning for brunch but we arrived at midday so we ended up ordering main courses. The ambience is great, staff are friendly and provide good service. However, the food was nothing special and quite overpriced for what it was. Not sure I would go back.
