First off staff are really very nice. Regardless of how busy it gets they are professional. It's always very clean and the environment is calm and welcoming. My only negative is that there isnt enough free from items /gluten free or any at all on the visits I've made.
I love Costa coffee. I'm a regular and loyal customer, their double espresso plus warmed up all butter croissant is my almost daily afternoon fix (at least 4 times a week!). But this branch it's just a joke, and I'm not talking drink and food, cause these are consistent wherever I go, but the service. They are always moody, always unhappy, always give me attitude as if im asking for red carpet to be rolled out when entering, and all I'm asking is their simplest coffee ever and croissant. Its a bit chilli today, I asked for cup of hot water - impossible, so I asked just for some tap water - also impossible:/ I got coffee, croissant and also a loaf cake, I'm paying for this, I'm paying for goods and the service! And what I get back is judgmental kinda look, I feel unwelcome, I'm being rushed, I get no "hello" or "thank you"/"bye"/"see ya", just whatever! Just something to make me feel like a human being for God's sake! I know this job is not easy, I've been there! so I really do understand, also its shopping centre, so I'm guessing it's busy, also, we all have bad days.. but it seems like these guys have a bad day every time I'm there.
Awful experience at this branch. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I simply asked for a straw with my iced latte and was told, in a very impolite manner by Miss Gina, that I should drink it without one. I eventually managed to get a straw at the till, but the attitude I received left me very disappointed. This is not the standard of service I expect from Costa
Worst Costa coffee experience I’ve had! I have requested what I always request and the store manager was extremely rude when trying to explain that apparently they’re not doing this in that Costa! They’re not doing what coffee I’ve had from Costa a million times before! AVOID going there.
At 5:22pm I’ve ordered 1 expresso IN and I was refused because they close at 6:00pm and they don’t have time to wash my cup coffee! They should know that expresso have different taste on plastic cup coffee! Honestly I didn’t understand why they take my payment if they didn’t do IN
So I spin the wheel for £1 and Gina the staff manager says I didn’t win when it was clearly on the Free Hot Drink. I’m not a cry baby but obviously I’m not happy with the fact that I won and just because Gina thinks it was on the line I no longer get a free drink. Rubbish. Never going here again. Also decides to call me big man because I tipped the spinning thing over.
not a bad spot, better than another costa cafe, good coffee, pretty good service.
Great staff and great coffee. Lots of vegan options available. I had a gingerbread latte vegan cookie and it was delicious. It is located inside a shopping centre.
