   I’ve been coming to this café regularly—at least once a month—and this visit was my fifth time. Up until now, it had been one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, this time I was really disappointed. I understand it was Father’s Day and they were understandably busy, but the service felt very disorganized. The staff seemed confused and not particularly welcoming. More importantly, the quality of the food just wasn’t up to the usual standard—it really let the experience down. I’ve always enjoyed coming here in the past, but after this visit, I’m not so sure anymore. I hope it was just an off day, but it’s definitely made me reconsider.

   Very friendly staff, and the food quality is fine, value for money. Although it’s a Portuguese cafe, the pasta dishes are just as good. The atmosphere is relaxed and the Portuguese TV news and posters add to it.

   Lovely food, reasonably priced. Enjoyed the veggie sandwich and prego roll. Service was good. Would go back. Just wish they did Portuguese Chicken and chips. Coffees are good. Atmosphere is simple cafe style.

   Had a nice lunch today. The baguette with prawns and avocado. The prawns were big and juicy not yre normal small ones. The side salad was wet which was a little weird shame as made bread a but soggy. Sat outside which was also nice. Service was good but once food was served non-one ever came back to take coffee order. Good menu lots of choices. Very reasonably priced

   Always beautifully cooked food, friendly customer service - we don’t eat breakfast anywhere else these days since discovering Lua. Great coffee and they have milk alternatives. The level of food produced and customer service is shown by the fact that this place is always popular and busy!

   Being a big fan of Portuguese cafes, so happy to come across Lua's not far from where I live on a bleak Sunday afternoon. Happy with the almond tart and the black coffee I had.

   This cafe is great. It offers a range of breakfast food, paninis, ciabatas, and some Portuguese options. I had the steak ciabata and it was amazing. My family love the homemade cakes. Worth a visit

   Great coffee, great food, and great service. The Portuguese nata tart was delicious. It is a popular place and I think they do takeaway at least for some items. (The gents was very clean, something you don't find everywhere.) Highly recommended!

   Great coffee, and top notch custard tarts too! Excited to find a place offering Gluten Free alternatives and menu items too!! Cafe was very clean, bright and had a good vibe. I’ll be back !
