   Best coffee in the area… and banana bread! We flirted with each of the cafes in Putney when we first moved to Putney but have stayed loyal to Monies once we met Beth and Bogdan. Sincere and lovely people and also artists of the craft. Introduced us to the legendary banana cake as well - considered knocking a star off due to the subsequent addiction which has ensued. But genuine legends and technicians - coffee always prepared with care and consistently excellent.

   Lovely little cafe with outdoor seating for summer days ☀️ The head barista is top of his game. Coffee is consistent and superb. The matcha is disappointing as it's a blend and doesn't taste of matcha at all. Great spot to meet for coffee and catch up with friends. Highly recommended.

   Best coffee in SW London hands down! Very welcoming décor finished to a high standard. Staff and owner are extremely friendly and welcoming. A few tips: Avocado on toast with eggs is a must for breakfast. Espresso martini milkshake for a late afternoon tipple :)

   I love the coffee and pastries in Monies. In my opinion they serve the best coffee in the area. Lovely staff and delicious coffee! What else would you want? An update: it's not only the coffee! Try the heavenly Chai Latte as well... it's amazing! The pistachio pastry is also a treat you'll remember.

   A warm, cosy and bright place to chill, meet up and drink amazing coffee! The acoustics in this well put together place is incredible and the service was impeccable. The brews were exceptionally well made - the filter was bright and distinct, the milk for the coffees was silky smooth and the espresso was extracted to perfection. Well worth a visit whether you’re new or a regular.

   Our favourite spot in Putney. Having tried all of the coffee bars in Putney this is our absolute favourite. The coffee shots are always consistent and amazing quality - we are those people who will walk 30 mins to get an amazing cup of coffee and we couldn’t be happier to have found Monies on Upper Richmond Road. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is so warm and the decor well designed. Having nailed the coffee they now do cheese and charcuterie boards on a fri and sat evening. You must go!! Each cheese is carefully hand selected from Borough Market, the meats are insane, they use amazing quality products from artisan producers and you can really taste the difference. A great selection of drinks too - ranging from wine to espresso martinis.
