My favourite cafe in Barnet, quality food and drink all served with a healthy dose of personality and professionalism! Highly recommended.
Loved the decaf chai latte without added sugar as well as their dates and pecan cookies. However, I found it a bit pricey. Also, I didn't like that they asked us 2 mums with babies in prams to sit opposite the open door, whilst it's 15 degrees outside and didn't close the door, when we asked them due to being cold. They said they would turn on the heating, but we just got cold air at us and a bit of warm air from above, so it didn't make much of a difference. The staff were friendly, but not very accommodating.
This cafe looks very stylish from the outside and it attracts attention welcoming to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee. However, when I came there today with my own re-usable bottle and with 2 children, I was refused to have some tap and was told I had to buy something in order for them to fill in my water bottle. I was very thirsty, it was hot outside and I am a breastfeeding mum! (you need a lot of liquid for that) In any other place in the UK you can fill in your bottle for free, as far as I know it is a government’s requirement. Will avoid this place as much as I can, same will do all my friends and family. Yikes!
Really good experience, the staff are very friendly. Fresh pastries, excellent coffee and large breakfast portions.
An ok visit nothing special a lack of atmosphere upon entry a full English, no not with Turkey bacon quite sad to not have an option of that fake horrendous flavourless pap or actual meat with taste , likewise the sausage no flavour at all thankfully I was offer a thimble of ketchup when I requested sauce and chips with hash browns no idea why ?? Coffee was good so a saving feature so in an emergency a place to eat better than most around the area, service could be improved with a smile and actual service and maybe genuine bacon and meat with flavour or the option to have it. Our crews would seek better food I feel and as just come onto shift wished for great and got average . Positive side however they can improve. I hope that use this feedback to do so as good location and potential is huge .
