   Nicely snuggled in the Park Plaza hotel on the ground floor close to the parliament hence great place to have quick meetings and a lovely cup of coffee. Easy quick service and a very tidy and organised place.

   This is cafe is located within Park plaza Westminster hotel. We stayed at that hotel, so it was convenient for us. The manager is nice and it's as usual the question of which barista is there when you order... This morning a great barista and a great caffeine smell, while viewing the Big Ben nearby. Great start of the day.

   Super nice café inside the park plaza hotel. Staff is really nice and kind. I am an ex barista and lemme tell you the coffee is AMAZING. The barista was a Spanish guy the did one of the best coconut mocha I've ever had in London. It's a bit pricy tho 9.50 for 2 mochas, but the place and atmosphere is nice and is inside a hotel so it costs more.

   28 febr 2023 - been there this morning and ask for a "marocchino freddo". they didn't know how to do it [and was displayed on the big screen on the wall]. the manager took my order and delegated the lady at the coffee machine which didn't know either herself. so the manager started browsing a big book to read the ingredients and ask me "do you like moroccan coffee?!" and then said to the lady " it's just coffee and chocolate that's it!". so finally she served me a subkind of milkshake with no frothed milk on top. very far from what i expect from such a brand like illy. so please train well your baristas and managers [or do not advertise special coffees on your screens if you're not able to prepare them]. i put 3 stars just because it's nice to have illy in London.

   They took extremely long the three times we went there for one coffee, a juice, and two croissants. The service provided is very inefficient and unprofessional. Ghey are not polite neither respectful sometimes.

   If based on service I would give one star but the coffee and food was decent so it’s two stars. There is one particular woman with long blackish straight hair and fair skin who is quite rude. She wore a jacket compared to other staff so probably a manager (and she was the rudest). She never smiles and on top of that made rude comments when her staff obviously could not get our order right. It was just two Viennese cappuccinos and two tomato and cheese croissants but we were asked 4 times for clarification of what our order was, and instead of her helping out this very confused cashier, she made unprofessional side comments to question our order. I was staying at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge and this was the second time we ordered and she really has a long face and doesn’t help smooth things out for her team. Every time we saw her at the counter we refused to order there. Good thing she wasn’t there every day.

   I wanted to try this Illy Cafe as I know the quality of the brand. The entrance is via the Park Plaza Hotel. Coffee was alright, even if the cappuccino was more English than Italian style, anyway it was ok. A bit disappointed about the offer of pastries, as no croissants were available (I've visited the cafe at 10am), so I tried the small chocolate sfogliatelle which were very good, but quite expensive for the size. In general it was a positive experience, as the location is very nice and staff was polite. I suggest to prepare more croissants in the morning.
