“I popped in for a coffee as I was delivering just around the corner. The place is small but really nice and it created a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the coffee and a cheese and tuna panini with chillies. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was great, I had to wait around 5 minutes but I sat and enjoyed my coffee . It was delicious, and when I gave the owner feedback she mentioned that she only uses the best coffee and her passion for the business was brilliant. I would highly recommend , delicious food, brilliant panini, friendly staff and a great coffee shop with a great atmosphere”

Fantastic care for the quality of their beans and roasting process. They can tell you where the coffee is sourced (all of it is Colombian), the story behind the location & the processes undertaken. They actually roast all of their beans in house which gives it a very fresh and flavourful taste. The staff will help you identify what beans that would suit your coffee choice best, I.e americano, flat white etc. Really recommend visiting the cafe to sit in or take coffee for your commute from Berrylands. They also offer various pastries and snacks etc to complement your choice. I feel like that this is an independent cafe not to be missed, with expertise and flavours which will not be found at a local chain coffeehouse!”

“Coming from Alberta, Canada, mourning the passing of my father this last February, I found solace and peace walking through both the East and West Cemeteries at Highgate. The atmosphere was serene and reflective—exactly what I needed during such a difficult time. After my walk, I stopped at the Colonnade Café, where I was warmly greeted and served what might honestly be the best latte I’ve ever had. The batista's warmth and excellent service, plus the roaming fox family, added to the whole experience that will leave a lasting impression. Thank you!
