HORRIBLE COFFEE! Amateurs!!! How can you burn coffee as an adult! Mind you it wasn't a young person that worked there it was a full grown adult! Despite its appealing description, the coffee I received was extremely bad. The aroma was dominated by burnt and stale notes, indicating either old beans or improper brewing. The flavor was harshly bitter and lacked any balance or nuance, suggesting significant over-extraction. Its thin, watery mouthfeel further reflected poor preparation. Overall, the cup tasted both burned and aged, making it unenjoyable. With fresher beans and more attentive brewing practices, this café could greatly improve its coffee quality.

If you love your coffee, you’ve got to try The Common Espresso Bar. I’ve lived in Clapham for a couple of years now and found this place 18 months ago and it’s been my local ever since. I’m picky with my coffee (I like it strong) and had struggled to find somewhere that didn’t burn it or drown it with milk. This place gets it right every time! Keisy makes a fantastic coffee every time and Dienna is so friendly on the till - she even reminds me to collect my daily stamp (you get the 10th coffee free) It’s family run and honestly the best spot for coffee in Clapham!

Fantastic homemade jammy buns served with beaming smiles, all for a very affordable price. What's not to love? There's a reason there are often 10 people outside. Fab business doing SW London properly proud. Well done ladies.

I discovered this wonderful gem of a coffee shop in Clapham! I had a coffee with lactose free milk, a vegan sandwich and delicous brownies to go. Exceptional customer service from Keisy and Natalia. I will be back again for sure.

Lovely local cafe. Owners are really friendly and welcoming. Coffee is delicious and the selection of baked goods is superb. Definitely better than the many coffee chains on the high street!

Lovely little cafe with top quality coffees. It’s just around the corner from Clapham Common tube and is run by super friendly Venezuelans. Highly recommend it!
