Hidden gem — they serve up delicious French and Algerian pastries and breads at fantastic prices, miles better than the overpriced patisseries around. They also do great breakfast and lunch, with top-notch coffee and genuinely warm service. A pillar of the community.
They might have good coffee and pastry I guess I’d never know. But the milkshake I got was probably one of the worst milkshakes i’ve ever tried in my life. Was really disappointed. The two stars is for the service mostly.
I have mixed feelings about Milk Bar. On my first visit, I bought a couple of pastries that were absolutely delicious and only cost £5 for both! I was pleasantly surprised. However, my second visit was a letdown. I purchased another pair of pastries, but they were overcooked and unfortunately, inedible. It was disappointing to waste my time and money on such poor quality. Perhaps it's just an off day, but consistency is key. Hope they improve!
Hearty portions and great value! The food at Milk Bar is super satisfying. Grilled meats, fresh salads, and a delicious potato omelet that tastes homemade. This place is a great spot for a filling lunch and tasty pastry. Will definitely come back!
Very good food and amazingly cheap place. helpful staff aswell. (4.50 pound for burger and chips)

Lovely cakes. It was a very quick visit just to get some dessert to take away. That is the only reason why I'm only giving them a 4. I'll go back pretty soon as I'm sure I'll move it to a 5. We had a very fluffy slice with crème patisserie and a slice of pecan tart. Both were great
Ordered breakfast from Milk Bar on deliveroo this morning, we tried the full English breakfast and sausage and egg wrap and I also ordered a cappuccino and tiramisu cake. The order arrived promptly, all the food was really fresh and well made and the tiramisu cake was delicious. Highly recommend if you’re fancying a cafe style breakfast whilst staying at home :) and once the cafe is open again I will definitely be visiting in person too.
