We have walked past this cafe on a number of occasions with the intention of trying the food as it always smells nice when you walk past. I’m so glad we did! The food was very tasty, we went for the full English. Customer service was on point even though the lady was by herself. We’ve eaten in a lot of cafes and by far this is rates high. Lovely cute little cafe. The food very good and very reasonable and the service is wonderful and welcoming. I went in today with two young children with quite a few specific requirements to keep them happy and the staff member was very friendly and helpful.
Stopped here yesterday to grab a cappuccino. Saw this place tucked away in a quiet backstreet in brockley and thought I'd give it a try. I only had a cappuccino but looked at the menu and it wasn't big but looked lovely at the same time. There were fresh croissants on the side and cake's too (raspberry ripple cake looked delicious). Hopefully if I'm in the area again I'll be able to grab another cappuccino (which was delicious) and maybe a slice of that cake.
Very impressed with Cool Beans! Decided to stop and have breakfast this morning and what a great decision that was. Coffees were excellent and cooked breakfasts just delicious. I can highly recommend. Added bonus dog friendly and we were all made to feel very welcome. Thank you, we will see you again soon.
Cool Beans cafe opened just over 10 months ago now & it has been a fantastic addition to the area-it is literally 2 mins walk from my house & I can even see if my fave window seat is free! Great coffee & food all at reasonable prices - now doing Sunday roast which is great value However the best thing about it is how friendly all the staff are-Jodie, Rebecca & Dean etc all so welcoming. It really has become an amazing COMMUNITY hub where lots of local people gather for a coffee/cake/lunch. In these difficult times this is so important so thank you Cool Beans. Everything on the menu tastes yummy with good quality ingredients and is excellent value (good homely portions). The service is friendly and professional and the ambience is cosy. We loved our Sunday roast lunch!
Sunday roast dinner: I opted for a vegetarian meal which I enjoyed immensely. I thought the meal size generous (a little too large for me) and the service excellent. I will definitely visit again.
